Great Western Exotics provides a 24/7, 1st & 2nd opinion 'exotic companion animal service', principally birds, small mammals & reptiles.GWE is headed by Neil Forbes RFP DipECAMS FRCVS (RCVS and European Specialist in Avian Medicine), and supported by Alberto Rodriguez CertZooMed and Marie Kubiak, both experienced AEvets, working towards Specialist qualification in Avian Medicine. The practice is well equipped with all necessary facilities, staff and equipment to meet the needs of these patients.

A Specialist, referral service, offering surgery (orthopaedic and soft tissue), medicine, cardiology, ultrasonography and MRI, dermatology and exotics. Based in Swindon, it provides easy access to M4 and M5. Cases are handled, with minimum stress and wait, for referring vet and patient. GWR sees itself as an extension of your own practice, offering your client a level of care, communication and support that you would be proud of. Excellence in clinical care is our standard.

We have a personal approach to looking after our clients and patients and believe continuity of care and being able to develop a trusting relationship is important.  Your pets are our priority and we would like to emphasise the fact that their care is a partnership between yourselves and the practice.  Our main surgery is located in the village of Purton and our branch surgery in Cricklade (consultation only), both sites having ample free parking and easy access.
