we would just like to say thank you to everyone at your vets in Coventry, for your caring, supportive staff and providing a service
above all else, when it was needed.
You were there when it mattered yesterday for our Bulldog Megan
when we had to bring her in urgently. thank you for your swift response and your accurate advice with the decisions available
to us, it helped put our mind at rest with what was going on.
In spite of everyone's best efforts she passed away, but we
could not have asked for any more from any member of staff,
than the best efforts that you had already provided.

My dog, an 8 year old french bulldog, was undergoing very detailed eye treatment for an ulcer at a specialist eye vet centre, when he developed heamatomas in both his ears. We were unhappy with our current vets and so went to Jamie at Abbey Croft on a recommendation.
She managed to see us the very same day we rang up and treated my dog that day. What I liked was the fact that she conversed with the eye vet before she proceeded with any treatment as to make sure her treatment didn't affect the healing process for the eye. She diligently managed to fix the ears without causing any contradictions with the eye.
Her manner was competant and welcoming and I cannot recommend her more highly.

I have been taking Holly to see Richard for over a year now and have always received excellent service. He always explains exactly what is going to happen to her in a way that is clear. When Holly needed quick treatment an appointment was made immediately for her to been seen, and a follow up phone call was made to see if all was well. The nurses are caring and have time for you especially if your pet has to have an operation.
I would highly recommend this practice.

Bailey back in January had a very bad car accident. His tail came clean off and a few times nearly did not make it. The whole staff took Bailey on like he was theirs and made him better. After all Bailey went through he loves going and seeing the staff. He really was looked after with the highest level of care. Bailey is now 16th months and is still a lovely caring dog who's accident has not changed him. Well apart from no tail!

I would firstly like to thank Richard and his staff for the excellent care given to our dog when he was ill. Our dog came down with a water infection and I was so worried, this was the first vets I rang and was pleased with the quick response. Richard was very helpful and supportive, he also stated that our dog had a tooth infection and was badly overweight. Richard explained that our dog will need an operation to remove the tooth; he stated he has done this operation many times which made me feel at ease. After all the hard work and advice Richard gave me our dog has never looked better and I can see he is so much happier in himself. I can't thank them enough for what everyone has done and I would highly recommend this veterinary to everyone :)

When reading reviews I always look for the odd bad one to prove they are genuine, but I'm afraid I can't oblige. I have been bringing my cat Megan to this surgery for a number of years and the advice and care has always been exemplary. On one occasion Richard chased after me along the street to reassure me that Megan had calmed down immediately I had left her at the vet's for an overnight stay, and was eating a little food. I took Megan, aged 18, when she was very sick and really did not expect to bring her home. However, after running a number of tests, Richard advised that the illness was treatable and that Meg's overall health, this illness aside, belied her years. The operation was expensive but I trusted Richard's opinion that Meg still had years of life in her. I am delighted to say that she is still with us today aged 22 and a half (the half is important at her age). I just listen to what Richard advises now - he has never let me down.

As a first time dog owner, everything is new to our family. The vets and staff at the practice are extremely helpful and dont make me feel stupid, no matter how simple my questions are. They have helped us all with regular puppy check ups and advised on all areas of immunisations. Fast appointment times, friendly staff and a happy dog.

We have been visiting the practice for just over a year and have always found Richard and all the Nurses to be friendly, caring and kind.
You know your pet is in safe hands and although it is not nice to have to leave your pet when they have to have an operation, you know that the team will always look after them and give them all the care and attention they need.
We would highly recommend this practice.

We have a black labrador called Inka who, for the last eight years, has been a regular visitor to this practice. No matter whether the visits have been routine or more serious, Richard and his team have always provided a caring and professional service. Richard has considerable knowledge and experience in his field and his love of animals is evident. His friendly and professional manner inspires confidence and trust. We would highly recommend Goddards, Gidea Park.
