“Thank you”

We'd like to thank Selvy, Suzy, Charlie and the team for their support and dedication to our dog and 2 cats over many years, all three of which lived to a ripe old age, thanks in part to their care.

There are clearly genuine animal lovers as well as highly skilled professionals.

We couldn't recommend them highly enough

“GRACIE”

About 4 weeks ago I returned home from work to find my dog Gracie had collapsed and could not move, I called the vets and brought her in and she saw Suzy. From the moment I took her there I cannot thank them enough for the care and attention they gave Gracie. She had to be admitted to their hospital in Watford where they carried out further tests and soon found out there was a mass in her chest, Gracie was very poorly and I thought I was going to lose her. I decided to go ahead with the operation which Selby carried out, she was able to remove the tumour from part of her liver and test have since confirmed that it is not cancerous. Gracie has now made a full recovery and I cannot thank the staff at Denham and Watford for the care they have provided for Gracie. Thank you guys so much

“Worst vet I have ever dealt with”

Unbelievably bad service!
First thing to annoy me is when the vet failed to notice my rabbit was pregnant. She recommended that I had her altered immediately. I decided not to and a few days later my bunny had babies! If I had listened to the vet they would have been aborted just before birth!

Second thing to waste my time is when I booked in my 3 baby bunnies for vaccinations for me to arrive and them to tell me they only could vaccine 2 as they hadn't anticipated having to do some many bunnies and had run out!

I booked in a week later to have the third bunny vaccinated and was guaranteed they would have vaccine in by then. On the day I got to the vet, which were as usual running nearly an hour behind schedule, sat there for 45 minutes for the vet to then come out and tell me they didn't have any vaccine!

This practice is nothing but a waste of time and very poorly run. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take pride in offering an efficient, personal service and are sorry that we failed to meet our usual standards on this occasion. We were disappointed to read this review and accept that although our records show that we did discuss the possibility that the rabbit might have been pregnant when we examined her on the initial occasion, we obviously failed to communicate this effectively.

We did run out of vaccines when the 3 rabbits were presented for their vaccinations. This is because we had an unusually large number of rabbits in for vaccinations that day, and really do regret having inconvenienced you.

More vaccines were ordered immediately and they were in the clinic on the Saturday, this was double checked by the veterinarian and the nurse during that week. We do not know why the week-end staff were unable to locate them. This error obviously compounded the initial situation and we are very embarrassed by it.

Although we have a very busy clinic, our clients are usually seen on time by appointment. Sometimes there may be a short wait but we aim to let clients know if this becomes too long and suggest they book another appointment at a more convenient time.

I hope you'll give us another opportunity to make it up to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions.
