We'd like to thank Selvy, Suzy, Charlie and the team for their support and dedication to our dog and 2 cats over many years, all three of which lived to a ripe old age, thanks in part to their care.
There are clearly genuine animal lovers as well as highly skilled professionals.
We couldn't recommend them highly enough

About 4 weeks ago I returned home from work to find my dog Gracie had collapsed and could not move, I called the vets and brought her in and she saw Suzy. From the moment I took her there I cannot thank them enough for the care and attention they gave Gracie. She had to be admitted to their hospital in Watford where they carried out further tests and soon found out there was a mass in her chest, Gracie was very poorly and I thought I was going to lose her. I decided to go ahead with the operation which Selby carried out, she was able to remove the tumour from part of her liver and test have since confirmed that it is not cancerous. Gracie has now made a full recovery and I cannot thank the staff at Denham and Watford for the care they have provided for Gracie. Thank you guys so much

Unbelievably bad service!
First thing to annoy me is when the vet failed to notice my rabbit was pregnant. She recommended that I had her altered immediately. I decided not to and a few days later my bunny had babies! If I had listened to the vet they would have been aborted just before birth!
Second thing to waste my time is when I booked in my 3 baby bunnies for vaccinations for me to arrive and them to tell me they only could vaccine 2 as they hadn't anticipated having to do some many bunnies and had run out!
I booked in a week later to have the third bunny vaccinated and was guaranteed they would have vaccine in by then. On the day I got to the vet, which were as usual running nearly an hour behind schedule, sat there for 45 minutes for the vet to then come out and tell me they didn't have any vaccine!
This practice is nothing but a waste of time and very poorly run. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take pride in offering an efficient, personal service and are sorry that we failed to meet our usual standards on this occasion. We were disappointed to read this review and accept that although our records show that we did discuss the possibility that the rabbit might have been pregnant when we examined her on the initial occasion, we obviously failed to communicate this effectively.
We did run out of vaccines when the 3 rabbits were presented for their vaccinations. This is because we had an unusually large number of rabbits in for vaccinations that day, and really do regret having inconvenienced you.
More vaccines were ordered immediately and they were in the clinic on the Saturday, this was double checked by the veterinarian and the nurse during that week. We do not know why the week-end staff were unable to locate them. This error obviously compounded the initial situation and we are very embarrassed by it.
Although we have a very busy clinic, our clients are usually seen on time by appointment. Sometimes there may be a short wait but we aim to let clients know if this becomes too long and suggest they book another appointment at a more convenient time.
I hope you'll give us another opportunity to make it up to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions.

I came to Denham Medivet with my friend when she was seeking advice on how to treat our amall hamster who had lost his fur. Selvy did several tests to solve the query and we were advised on diet changes which seemed to help.
We were delighted with the consultation and the eventual diagnosis.
Throughout Selvy was thorough and professional and totally kind and helpful. The vets here are all well informed and on top of their game.
The bill at the end was surprisingly reasonable for the time we took up.
I have been to vets in other areas of Bucks but this practice is exceptional.

I recently owned two dwarf hamsters. When one of them got an ear infection I visited Medivet Denham for the first time. I was given good advice and suitable medication but unfortunately my pet had an early tumour which grew rapidly over several weeks. Selvy saw our pet at regular intervals and guided us through the treatment process. I was never rushed or treated with impatience just because a small fluffy dosen't generate huge fees. My pet was important to them the same as all the other animals.
God guided me to this practice and my animal died yesterday in as much comfort as was possible in the circumstances. My other pet will also continue to visit when needed.
You won't find better vets anywhere in the country.

I had to have my cat polly sadly put to sleep and I have to really say how great and kind Lucie was. She is an amazing vet with the best manor I have ever come across, through out Lucie had a gentle way of helping me get through the sadness and upset. Also my dog Daisy has a soft spot for all the staff at denham, think she enjoys her visits to the vets now.

I would like to recommend medivet in denham for their caring practice. My dog Jake has had to visit the vet on a regular basis in his two years since I had him. During this time I have found all of the staff to be friendly and caring towards him. I would especially like to mention Lucy the vet looking after Jake who was very kind and professional in her care of Jake. I am hoping that I will not have to visit again soon but if I do then I know it will be a very good service.

Since Selvy and her team have been at Medivet Denham our beautiful dog Benji has had the best care and treatment that we could have hoped for.Everyone is so professional, caring and helpful it seems that nothing is too much trouble.Benji has had so much done to him especially the last year but he still wants to go and visit the vets on his walks because he knows that he will be made a fuss of and looked after. When we are very anxious about Benji we know that we can always ring or pop in and Selvy and her team will reassure us.We would like to say a big thank you for everything they do.

I have used this practice since it was opened and have had six cats at one time or another looked after by the vets and nurses here. Since Selvy arrived, I have nothing but praise for all the care she and the rest of the staff have given. Currently, my oldest cat Scamp has congestive heart failure which was diagnosed by Lucie while Selvy was on maternity leave. Since then, they have both seen Scamp through many tests and procedures and have been totally honest with me about his illness and prognosis, which has been vital for me to prepare for the day I eventually lose him. Their empathy and support, together with that of the nurses, have been more than I could have imagined and it is great to know that I can phone for advice or take Scamp to the branch whenever I'm worried about him. We've been there innumerable times this year, and each time I love to see the way the staff all greet whatever animal comes through the door (and their owners!).
If you're looking for a vet in the Denham area, I can't recommend this practice highly enough for friendliness, care and absolute professionalism.
