“Caring and highly professional service”

Our two dogs always receive the highest level of care here. But what makes them stand out to me is the same level of care I've seen them give to lost and injured animals brought into the surgery by members of the public or the RSPCA.

“Very patient and understanding with a nervous pet. ”

Took the time to settle my nervous GSD before examination and time to let him relax afterwards. Excellent service.

“Excellent Service”

Being first time owners of a puppy, we felt it was important to find a reliable and helpful vets. Although I have owned dogs all my life, 'Harley' is my first puppy and St George's have been excellent in answering any questions, (however stupid they were!) On all occasions, the staff have been helpful and 'Harley' does not dread his visits to the vets.

“Timmy ”

Visited last Friday and saw Mariette (Vet) Timmy is now much better and up to his old tricks I'm happy to say. The treatment he received was 1st class and very effective so thank you very much. I only hope that you may consider cheaper rates for pensioners as the costs are quite high to treat my cats as I would wish.

“The benefit of e-mails”

St George's use the e-mail to let you know when your next batch of advocate is due or your pets vaccinations, as well as putting a reminder in the post, which ensures you never miss important matters.

“Thank You”

Very impressed with the service we receive each time we visit St George's. Tinker gets very excited at the surgery and Scrappy hates visiting, but the vet is always very patient and kind.

“Excellent Vet”

Last March, our beloved 11-year-old Westie gave up the struggle against ill-health and had to be put to sleep. We had always been delighted with the treatment we'd had for him at St. George's Sedgley, particularly from Derek who was very familiar with all our dog's problems - but he was off on the day our dog reached the end. The vet on duty, who'd never met us before, couldn't have been kinder or showed more empathy both to the dog and ourselves.

Four months ago, we felt able to get another dog and had no hesitation in returning to St. George's to register him. We look forward to further good relationships with the new vet at Sedgley - although we hope not to have to visit as often with this dog!

I've been coming to St George's for 40 years and on the whole I've always been treated with kindness and courtesey. I've been breeding cats for 25 years and the 24hr support is vital. I need to know there's a friendly voice at the end of the phone when advice is needed. I've always found polite, friendly and helpful personnel at the Sedgley branch and the Wolverhampton Hospital. From the beginning through to the end of life for my cats I can alwats trust St George's!

“Seasonal Cheers”

We woke up on Christmas morning to find that our dog Sam's wound was looking unpleasant. A call to Wolverhampton and we were booked in for a shot of antibiotics, wound cleaned and medicine dispensed. What good cheer to know that St George's provide a brilliant service all year round. We were back home to unwrap our presents and cook the dinner. Follow up checks at Sedgely were provided over the holiday period in the usual efficient and friendly manner. Sam is happy and well.

“09/01/13”

i have been using St George's for 7 years and find the overall service very good although there has been occasions where i think in my opinion more could have been done. Generally prices are expensive and could be discounted or dropped in the current climate.
