“would recommend”

Would just like to add my own appreciation to all the other reviews. I had to rush my own cavalier, Ruby, in yesterday as an emergency (I really thought she was dying!!) She was seen immediately, diagnosed, and treated by a lovely, caring, friendly and sympathetic lady vet, who explained exactly what was wrong with her.
As I am disabled and housebound, it was the first time Ruby had ever been outside my home and garden, but they (the staff) were all so gentle with her she wasn't even stressed. All the staff were so kind and helpful, and SO nice, even to virtually lifting me in and out of the premises, (I am in a wheelchair)it was (almost) a pleasure to be there. Ruby is so well today it's unbelievable. Thanks a lot.

“Would recommend St. Georges”

I was a long time client of Mr Dunwell in Stourbridge and Halesowen until his retirement and subsequently carried on with St. Georges and have their service excellent. I usually use the Halesowen surgery and find the Vets.and Nurses and Receptionists very helpful and friendly. It certainly is a 5 star service.

“Friendly vets”

I have used st. Georges vets at halesowen for the past four years i lost my two beautiful dogs Floyd and Niles within seven months of each other. Sadly we had Niles put to sleep on the 28,2,2012. Clair was so professional, Clair treated us with such dignity ,and respect,Clair was outstanding along with the staff Joanne and Donna who were there for us at this very sad and difficult time. Clair had all the time in the world for us. We now have two lovely puppys called Acer and Mia that get lots of cuddles at st.Georges. I highly recomend this vet for their time and how friendly they are. We have used other vets in the past, we have never come across one like st.Georges. We would like to say a great big thanks to Clair and her staff. Dont ever leave the practise Clair you will be missed.

From Mary,Steve,Acer and Mia

“Highly recommended ”

I have used this Vets for 2 years since we had our dog Molly, this was the first time I had a dog and was nervous in case I made mistakes.

She was only 10 weeks old when we bought her, she is a cross shepherd/labrador. Monika came out to see her when we registered her, at the time we were having a lot of trouble with her stomach, she had constant diarrhoea. The vets were amazingly patient with me, they talked to me knowing I wasn't very confident and that I needed help with getting to know what to do for the best for her. Throughout that worrying time everyone at the vets was so kind to me, no-one made me feel silly for asking questions and the friendliness of the surgery is second to none. The reception staff make the owner feel at ease while you're waiting to have the pets seen. You hear a lot of scare stories about Vets overcharging etc, I can assure you they are so honest there and straight with the customer about everything. I was very naive and could have easily been taken advantage of, but they have NEVER done this, if anything they have saved me money. I have happily joined the healthy pets club, Molly gets her boosters and flea/worm treatment included in this package (as well as a discount on food or medication she needs).

She was spayed before her first season without any problems whatsoever, she was picked up and brought home happy with her cone on her head (again there were no hidden fees, everything was up front and I was happy knowing my girl was treated with love the way I would want her treated).

She has had a bit of an accident this past week and Monika came out again today for me to look at her. Her advice and treatment is second to none, Molly is now having a lovely rest with the anti-inflammatories she's been given and I feel relaxed that she is going to be fine. I know how to treat her, what's wrong with her and that she's getting great care.

Having a vet you can trust is important, our pets mean the world to us, so they deserve to be treated with dignity and love, the way we want them to be. St Georges Halesowen ticks all those boxes and so much more.

I would like to thank them for so much, I have a happy, healthy, gorgeous dog and I owe a lot of that to the help I received from St Georges.
