“Best vets for cats ever!!”

We are so lucky to have found this clinic for our three cats - spotless facilities, empathetic service treating both cats and owners alike (in my case both neurotic)!! One never feels that inappropriate or unnecessary treatment is recommended.

I cannot recommend highly enough

“Our fabulous vet!”

The Cambridge Cat Clinic is an absolutely fantastic place and we feel so privileged to have it so close to our house. We are first time cat owners and have lots of questions (!) Mini is always happy to spend the time advising us and putting our minds at rest!

The surgery is clean and perfectly designed to put our cats at ease. Despite regular visits and injections our kittens are still happy to get in the carrier to go there. Mini and the team are brilliant at making sure they are relaxed and happy throughout their treatments.

We love the Cambridge Cat Clinic and would highly recommend them.

“Simply the best.”

We came to CCC when our cat had a chronic ear infection so bad that her previous vets were recommending an operation to remove the inside of both ears. This would have been extremely painful for her, have made her deaf and given her balance problems. Mini at CCC took a gentler and more innovative approach and, through a series of ear flushes, managed to clear the infection and keep it at bay without discomfort or hearing loss for Cookie. Appointments are always available and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

“Excellent”

Having reached that point in my life where I can usually find fault with anything if I look hard enough, it has come as a delight to find a service for which there is simply nothing amiss. This place is absolutely fabulous. The staff are clearly passionate about the animals they work with, the service and attention is top class, nothing is too much trouble for them. (my first, free, visit was to establish whether some cats hanging round my new house were actually stray, and if they needed any treatment). Their careplan for cats is a great way to spread the cost of regular feline treatment over the year.

However, the thing that really marks the Cambridge Cat Clinic out for me is actually noticing the severe issues one of my cats had with her teeth, which the previous vets practice for whatever reason managed to miss (I honestly have no idea how difficult it is to spot bad cat teeth, I never noticed a problem). A day after her tooth extraction, clean and polish, my cat is somewhat more relaxed than she has been for ages, so with hindsight presume she must have been in some pain previously. What attention to detail too, a care sheet prepared for me customised with her name, and a nice little cat tooth chart so I know what state her teeth were in. Heck, I don't even get that service from MY dentist.

Good value for money too. It's always nice to end up spending less than you expect.

“An Absolutely Fantastic Vet - Highly Recommended”

We are so lucky to have found Minnie and Co. at the Cambridge Cat Clinic. They are highly knowledgeable and made us feel at ease when there were some difficult choices to be made. We have three cats, who are 2, 6 and 13 years old. We had previously gone to the local large veterinary clinic chain, but found unnecessary treatments pushed onto us and began to feel as if we were seen to be only an open wallet. There is none of that with Cambridge Cat Clinic, all treatments are explained, and as she specialises in Cats, she knows what they need and don't need. Their openness has led us to completely trust their judgements.

Our eldest cat has had quite a few issues, and we have had to make quite a few emergency out of hour appointments which were very reasonable. We always feel a huge level of love when she deals with him, and as he can be very grumpy with people, we were surprised how comfortable he is with her.

We have been so enamoured with the Cambridge Cat Clinic that whenever we speak to fellow cat lovers we always suggest they go see them. We are so lucky and privileged to have such a knowledgeable and down to earth local practice for our cats. Our praises cannot even illustrate how grateful we are for them!

Their special diet food prices are also very competitive with online shops and we now order it all through the clinic.

“Luxury cat experience, would recommend”

I recently moved two of my three cats to this cat-only vet surgery and was very pleased with the friendly and helpful reception by both front of house staff and the vet herself.
My cats were allowed free run of the examination room which made them feel very comfortable and much less stressed than they otherwise would have been. The vet was not only knowledgeable but also took time to make rapport with the cats which is very important in my view.

The atmosphere is that of a luxury cat retreat, it's calm and clean and relaxing.

“A friendly cat clinic for all the cats and cat lovers”

We learnt about this clinic in our own village when we adopted 2 kittens few month ago. The place is clean and quiet--no whiny or barking dogs around. Our kittens were relaxed and showed no fear on their visits. Just as coffee lovers make better coffee, cat loving vet Mini and staff make the experience of vet visit very pleasant. Not only our feline friends, but also us humans are treat well. For us who has no time to wait on the phone, email correspondence works very well!

“Knowledgeable & Professional”

As "parents" of 5 assorted moggies, we were fed up with visiting our last practise for routine check-ups only to discover that what should have been fairly straightforward and uncomplicated, inevitably resulted in unnecessary treatment and of course, unwarranted vet bills.<br />
Unable to sustain our continued patronage of this practise, and wondering where it would be possible to find a practise not driven by profit alone; it was by sheer good fortune that I happened upon a "Cambridge Cat Clinic" poster in my local village social club in August 2012. <br />
We subsequently made an "inspection" of this brand new surgery and were greeted by Georgina in reception who then in turn introduced us to Miranda Wright (Mini to her friends & clients)one of the joint partners in the practise<br />
We were given a guided tour of the pristine clinic and were immensely impressed with the in-house facilities boasting a "state of the art"<br />
modern operating theatre: one couldn't help believing that any cat entrusted into the care of this practise would be in safe hands.<br />
Sufficiently impressed, we subsequently took all of our cats over a 5 day period for their annual check ups and boosters and didnt require an overdraft to make good the ensuing bills.....most refreshing.<br />
It was, however, during an in-depth examination of Max, our tangled & knotted long-haired Tabby, that a previously undiagnosed dental problem was identified that our former practise had missed.<br />
It soon became apparent that the reason that Max was experiencing difficulty in grooming / removing knots from his coat was that he had a condition which apparently re-absorbs the cat's own teeth and seemingly would seem to give rise to discomfort, if not pain, to Max<br />
Mini was quick to identify this problem and following successful surgery in the aforementioned theatre, Max has since been able to groom effectively and this has obviated the need for detangling sessions which were always problematical in that he'd scratch and protest quite vehemently.<br />
To conclude we would highly recommend this Veterinary Practise to Cat lovers and would hope that they continue to go from strength to strength<br />

“Wonderful ”

This is a wonderful little clinic, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I make a point of telling friends and family about them, knowing that their cats will be in the best hands possible. The clinic it self is extremely clean, well decorated and have a friendly atmosphere. As a huge added bonus is has no huge dogs running around the place barking and scaring the cats. Both our cats are registered here and I wouldn't dream of ever taking them any where else. Cats always seem to get a bad deal when it comes to going to a vets, I'm sure other places put more importance on larger animals such as dogs. But not here, Mini is wonderful with them and us, as are the reception staff. I wish every cat owner had the peace of mind we have when taking Theo & Isla to see the vet.

“Fantastic helpful advice and excellent care for my cats”

I registered my cats with the Cambridge Cat Clinic when we re-homed them. Mini, the vet, is so knowledgeable about cats and she takes the time to explain what the best treatment is for your cat and why. I feel I can ask her about any cat-related issues and she has lots of tips and suggestions. My cats have been neutered and treated for fleas and worms under her care. The surgery is particularly cat friendly and my pussies are quite calm there due to the understanding staff (and also the cat pheromone sprays). They like to stand on her window sill and look out during the consultation. I can fully recommend the Clinic to any cat owners.

“Caring and friendly staff. Great addition to our village.”

Archie our ginger and white adolescent cat has been well known at the practice since a kitten and when he fell from a first floor window sill, which he had managed to get out onto whilst in his naive but inquisitive phase, the staff were on hand at short notice to check him over and thankfully reassure us that he was absolutely fine. The practice is excellent and I highly recommend it.

“When it comes to cats they know their stuff”

Cambridge Cat Clinic is passionate about cat healthcare. The staff are welcoming and kind to cats and owners alike. My cats are not intimidated by the clinic environment which is unlike any other vets I've been too. It's spotlessly clean, it doesn't smell, it's bright and modern and best of all it feels spacious. My cats feel safe and at home when they go for a check-up.

I'm so glad I found this specialist vet practise. I know my cats are in safe hands and I can trust Mini to look after my cats as if they were her own. I'm always keen to recommend Cambridge Cat Clinic to other cat owners.

“Cannot recommend highly enough. ”

I am a locum veterinary nurse and I have worked at Cambridge Cat Clinic on a regular basis, so I have experienced it behind the scenes. I have been so impressed with every aspect of the surgery. So much so that I have registered my own cats; even though it is further to travel than my previous vet. All the staff are professional, friendly and genuinely passionate about cats, and they are all qualified to the highest level. The surgery building is modern, spacious and spotlessly clean and the equipment and facilities are second to none. Cats behave differently at this cat-only clinic than they do in mixed species vets; it is a far less stressful environment for them and the staff now how to handle even the most difficult cats. To my mind Cambridge Cat Clinic offers the best elements of all veterinary environments - it has the facilities and expertise usually offered in veterinary referral hospitals but with the individual touch and continuity of care offered by a general practice.
