We recently had reason to take our adopted cat to Medivet Langley and as this is our first pet we weren't really sure what to expect but this is a highly professional set up, run by a group of people who care about the animals and their owners. We would have no reluctance in using them again or recommending their service to anyone in the area. Added to which they are a bunch of really friendly people. Well done.

Thank you to all at the Langley Medivet team

In August 2014 I adopted a miniture yorkie puppy, whom I named Maisy. As with any new "Mummy" I had some scares, when she chewed on a bleach-treated sponge, had episodes of vomiting and even grooming questions. The staff have always been very reassuring, ready to answer general inquiries over the phone and providing tips to make Maisy's life better. When I have had to take Maisy in, Dr. Shilpi and the nursing staff have always been firm, throrough and kind to Maisy. They recognise her anxiety, as she doesn't like being poked, prodded and punctured (for blood tests). I have recommended them to other pet "mummies" and "daddies".

I am writing this review based on the recent experience that we have had with practice and our dog Gatsby. We discovered what appeared to be a growing lump on our dog's head, and clearly were very concerned that there could be an infection or something worse. We went to the practice to get a second opinion, and are very glad that we did. We spoke to Shilpi the practice vet at length, who took us through our options, and reassured us by answering all of our questions with patience. After the procedure of removing lump, we were very impressed and grateful with the after care that we received from the clinic. A special mention must also be made of both Justine and Lizzy who were very conscientious in ensuring that we got the best after care. If we had any concerns or issues, they were very quick to respond and ensure that Gatsby was seen to. We came here for a second opinion, but instead have now chosen to stay with this practice due to earning our trust. Thank you to the team.

Our dog had two operations on the same day and, what was a very tense day was made easier by Shilpi coming out of the surgery to update us and reassure us she was doing well. The staff were very kind when I took her in to Langley and when I went to Watford to collect her, I was again treated with kindness. We are very grateful to have our precious pet back with us and cannot thank Shilpi and her team enough.

My Labrador Phoebe recently had an operation to remove, with great relief when diagnosed, extremely large fatty lump.
Admittedly it took Shilpi and her colleagues a long while to come to the final verdict to remove the unslightly lump, but by making the correct decision to firstly take biopsy whilst she was under having her teeth cleaned, after nearly 3 years (so I was told when he king Phoebe's notes) the horrible lump has gone.
She is a very difficult dog as she dislikes other dogs and as for cats, well need not comment further. Taking her to the surgery.is always difficult but they always accommodate me by allowing me either the first or last appointment and see Phoebe in a room away from the maintain waiting room.
When Pheobe had her operation, Shilpi and her team were so kind and considerate that I was happy to leave her knowing that she would be well cared for.
The staff are always polite and most helpful even though the surgery is very busy they allow time for everyone.
So thank you so very much for the care you have shown to both my dogs and although I have visiited the Langley surgery for over 20 years, I will still keep to this particular surgery even though
It has new staff (apart from Brenda who is still bless her helpful and friendly as ever) they are truly dedicated to the welfare of animals.
Keep up the good work and your kindness.

We have been using this practice since first moving to Colnbrook some 37 years ago, and have seen many changes over that time. Except one, Brenda, who is still the friendly voice on the end of the 'phone and the face you most often meet when visiting.
The staff have always been friendly, caring and professional, but I have to admit it is difficult to deal with change, when our long serving vet John Phaff retired, I think that Shilpi has settle into the practice well and has developed a good team around her to deliver the services for our pets.

My dog had a lump which was on her tummy and came to light very suddenly. We were all quite worried as she has never had anything wrong health wise before.
The vet Shilpi was excellent as we were given reassurances that our dog would be looked at very quickly and gave us the choices as to what actions were available to us.
As it was we decided to let Shilpi operate and remove the lump then send it for analysis, to investigate if any further action was needed.
All through the process we were kept up to date and advised.
When we collected our dog we were treated with respect and so was the dog even given a 'get well soon' card, which was so unexpected and a lovely gesture. Thank you.
Our lovely dog has now fully recovered and no adverse effects. Even the stitches were dissolvable so no additional work needed on her.
Again thank you Shilpi for your skills and kind words.
