“Shilpi”

The practice is a well run service that is primarily targeted toward the well-being of our pets. Although it may be part of the large 'corporate' business model, Shilpi and her team have made it more like a small individual practice that provides a friendly and professional service.

“Care for our dog”

We have recently lost our dear little dog with heart problems and I am sure had it not been for the care provided by Shilpi and the team we would have lost him much sooner. I cannot thank them enough for all their care and kindness.

“Taking great care of Ila :)”

The medivet Langley are a Friendly team and always helpful with guidance and advice, the staff took great care of my pup(Ila) .
the day I took her to get spayed I was so nervous and worried because she had to be taken with them from Langley to Watford . Being my first pup I really didn't know what to expect , but a member of the team at medivet Langley went with my Ila staying with her taking care of her at all times. Ila and my self have trusted them and every time Ila sees the team she is waggy tailed showing she's Happy ,even if its a simple check like being weighed or a more detailed check like her temperature being taken etc.
knowing Ila is comfortable gives me great trust and confident in the wonderful /caring team at medivet Langley. I would highly recommend . Thank you Shilpi and team.

I just like to add I went for the key hole surgery for Ila , though it's more expensive it felt too me the right choice , she recovered much quicker and so much more less painful for her. she seemed so much more at ease when I brought her home. I have friends who didn't take this option and have said to be there pets took longer to recover and felt more uncomfortable .

“REview of service”

Medivet had a lot to live up to after Mr Phaff. He is a hard act to follow and I was concerned about pricing after the big company took over. I need not have worried. The new staff do a great job. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. They are looked after beautifully.

“Medivet Langley , Excellent Care.”

My 3 year old dog Floyd , who is a cross Jack Russell /Chocolate Labrador was taken into Medivet Langley and then on to Medivet Watford when he was staying with a friend while we were on holiday in France in September 2015 .
He had chewed up and swallowed part of a tennis ball, he was very ill for a week and we thought we would lose him as he lost so much weight and was no longer eating .
He stayed in Watford for a week and was operated on and the piece of rubber was taken from his small bowel , he also lost 10cm of his small bowel as it had effectively died.
It was a very stressful time for us and him and we are so glad he was insured as it cost over 8K in all. None of the medical proceedures come cheap and the cost of scans , xrays , blood tests operations , fluids and medications can be prohibitive. There was also the very reassuring 24 hour care of a vet and nurse in Watford , and the dedication of the Langley team who were very good at keeping us informed .
The vets were excellent{Shilpi and Isabel and Yvette }as well as Justine the head nurse who helped process the insurance claim }.
We can only thank them all for saving Floyds life , he is fit and full of energy now and enjoying life so much .
We have heard so many horror stories since of people whose animals /pets are not covered by insurance and the agonising decisions they have to make.
Please get your pet insured .
Thanks Medivet Langley /Watford for giving Floyd back to us.

“Excellent care and service”

We recently had reason to take our adopted cat to Medivet Langley and as this is our first pet we weren't really sure what to expect but this is a highly professional set up, run by a group of people who care about the animals and their owners. We would have no reluctance in using them again or recommending their service to anyone in the area. Added to which they are a bunch of really friendly people. Well done.

“A place you can trust”

In August 2014 I adopted a miniture yorkie puppy, whom I named Maisy. As with any new "Mummy" I had some scares, when she chewed on a bleach-treated sponge, had episodes of vomiting and even grooming questions. The staff have always been very reassuring, ready to answer general inquiries over the phone and providing tips to make Maisy's life better. When I have had to take Maisy in, Dr. Shilpi and the nursing staff have always been firm, throrough and kind to Maisy. They recognise her anxiety, as she doesn't like being poked, prodded and punctured (for blood tests). I have recommended them to other pet "mummies" and "daddies".
