I would like to put on record my sincere thanks to Mr John Hoskin, for making my dreaded visit with Hamish to Companion Care Vets in Hemel Hempstead more bearable. He understood and noted my frame of mind as soon as I entered his surgery, He was very caring both to my little Hamish and myself, and was very professional, and was swift in the unfortunate job at hand, his words to me were of the utmost help. and demonstrated he certainly knew his job. I will recommend Companion Care Vets Hemel, to any person I know with Animals.
Thank You John so very much.
Yours Sincerely Dennis W Pike. 24/01/2015.

May I take this opportunity to pass on my thanks to the veterinary staff working this weekend (3 & 4 Jan) at the Hemel Hempstead surgery in Pets at Home.
My family had the misfortune of having to have our much loved cat 'Chase' put to sleep following a short illness. Adam the Vet and Georgia the nurse/receptionist were extremely helpful and caring and treated Chase with genuine care and kindness; making a tough time just that little more bearable. Our thanks David, Kim and Harrison.

I took my late doberman there a couple of years ago and he received the best before he died I was pleased with the compassion he got from the professionals there. Since then I have a kitten and a puppy and I wouldn't take them anywhere else, because I can see how much John cares for them.

My cat lives outside through her own choice in the spring/summer, I mean to the point of being feral and doesnt even come in to eat. Recently she had a severe skin allergy, looked like a burns victim as it took me a few weeks to get hold of her. Once I did get her the state of her, it brought a tear to your eye. She was practically bald apart from her back, bleeding wounds. Awful. I thought we might lose her it was so bad.
It was a horrible time and our vet Ankar was amazingly supportive and professional. Ankar treated Nushka with great care and gave her injections as I didnt want to force feed her tablets. We went back a few times due to the stage the skin had got to. Thankfully Nushka has now made a full recovery and I have come away with great advice on how to prevent this in the future. Shes now an indoor cat.
But if it were to happen I know where I will be taking her!
Thank you xx

We always see John as we love him. We have 7 rats and 1 ferret and we are confident that if one of them gets sick , we will receive the best care. Had lots of surgeries and treatments here and I have always been very happy with the professionalism and care for our babies. Thank you for making us feeling a little bit relaxed!

Visited this vets practice on several occasions because of the amazing care I have received for both my cat and rabbit. John is so caring and respectful to the animals, something which I have not had from two other vets in the Hemel Hempstead area. I would urge anyone to take their pets here, it's great value for money and you walk away knowing that you've been given the best possible advice! John really is a credit to this practice!

This vet practice has gone "above and beyond" in the care of our rabbit. All the staff have always treated us in a friendly and professional manner, and given Rupert the rabbit the very best of care in somewhat challenging circumstances, even when he has not made things easy for them! We are always made to feel welcome and are encouraged to phone them with any concerns. Companion Care Vets is in a convenient location in Hemel Hempstead, with easy parking and long opening hours. We have been to several vets and this one is definitely the best. We highly recommend this practice.
