Sadly last Sunday my husband and I had to make the sad decision to let our wonderful dog go to sleep. When I rang the surgery the receptionist, Julie, was so kind and helpful. When we arrived at the surgery we were sent straight through to the Vet. I cant remember the lovely Vets name, but she was so kind and respectful to us. The room was all ready with towels and vet bedding laid out, which was a lovely thing.
The Nurse came in, Sophie, and she was lovely too. Our dog was happy to go off with them for a while and they both were so kind and gentle to him, talking to him the whole time.
When they came back we were allowed to stay with him, and for as long as we wanted to after he had gone.
I cant say enough how grateful we were to these two kind, caring and professional ladies. They helped to make a very sad occasion bearable.
Thank to you all for your kindness, it means so much at such a painful time.

I've been with this vet for about 12 months now & am so glad to have found them. The receptionists, nurses & vets are knowledgable, consultative & helpful. I have 2 cats & they have both had operations, vaccinations, tests & check ups through out that time. I have recieved sound advice & good tips on lots of different topics including diet, supplements, dental care, recovery, exercise, social integration etc.
The pricing is very competitive but the cost of some medicines & vet specific food is a lot more expensive than I can get online. I accept that I'm paying a premium to have instant access to these prescribed items in the surgery, but it is too much. That's the only quibble I would have. They're otherwise outstanding & I have recommended this surgery to several friends.

I hesitated about bringing my pets here but when I renewed their vaccinations (3 cats and a dog) I decided to shop for a lower price than the vets I had previously seen (in Richmond a big surgery with different vets) I first brought the cats because the price was 10£/pet less. I expected an injection and a cursury look at my cats, well the vet Attila was really nice and very thorough even though I was in a hurry he looked at them and noticed an ear problem I had dismissed because previous vet thought it was just wax. He prescribed an ointment for the 3 cats and it finally cleared their ears ! He also was really nice to my older cat who is ten and a bit grumpy and he was very gentle. Obviously likes animals. a few months later I decided to bring my dog for an ear infection and skin allergy, he discovered she had a dislocating knee (obviously painful) and this also had never been diagnosed by our previous vet, So I have real faith in his knowledge and training. He is a bit quiet but takes the time to really examine your pet and takes nothing for granted. I have permanently switched over to this practice and only see him. I highly recommend.
(previously we went to richmond practice on chaucer corner, the vets are nice and friendly but much less competent and thorough)

Having had our cat for many years with no insurance we had paid as and when he needed a vet's attention. However, when we were told that he needed dental work and various blood tests etc., etc., we came to Companion Vets at Pets At Home Brentford for a second opinion. We were stunned by the friendly vets and the honesty regarding fees when we questioned if everything was actually necessary re all the extras. To conclude Sam the cat had his dental work and is back to his old self and we didn't need to sell one of the children to pay his vet bill !!!
