“Strangles- my knights in shining armour!!”

Both Naomi and Katie were the most professional and caring vets that I had encountered when two of my normally healthy horses were diagnosed with strangles last summer. They were sensitive to my feelings as well as to the characters of the two (highly strung) patients and were by my side every step of the way. Always on hand for advice, they helped us to protect the rest of the yard and take up the very highest of bio security measures. It was clear that they cared wholly about the welfare and care of all of the animals; diagnosis, treatment, protection and after care second to none.

Hampden Vets made a normally incredibly distressing time more bearable and manageable, and I thank Naomi and Katie from the bottom of my heart.

“Foaling problem”

I can not thank Tim Brown enough for his help in saving my mare during a traumatic foaling. I felt she had almost given but with Tim's calm manner and expertise she gave birth without any injury to herself. Unfortunately the foal had to be PTS due to fused knees. Also thanks to Terry Horgan for the next couple of days with his aftercare.

“best decision for me and my new horse”

I just wanted to say how friendly and professional the vets and all staff are at Baskerville Horgan & Partners, and how impressed I am with the service offered to me and my horse.
After using my previous Equine Vets for about 12 years I was reluctant in changing, but was sadly left without choice after their handling of the very sensitive matter of losing my previous horse of 15 years to colic. So when I purchased my new horse 2 years ago I decided to register. I can honestly say it has been the best decision for me and my new horse. Although (luckily) I have not had to call anyone out until recently (apart from the routine vacs) I already feel that my horse is in very safe knowledgeable hands.

“Great Vets”

I have used Baskerville Horgan and Partners for many years and have always had a 1st class service. I have seen them for many different issues, from breeding from my mare, and the euthanasia of 2 horses, to vaccinations, lameness, cuts and scrapes. They have always been polite, helpful, knowledgeable, kind and reliable. I have total confidence in them and I wouldn't use anyone else.

“very knowledgeable vets. do everything for the good of the horse”

I have been with this vet's for at least 15 years and they have always been amazing, I normally have Katie Robinson but they are all really good. ED, Katie and the team mended my horses stifle when he was 3 and now he jumps and does everything. He's a pleasure to own, and he's grown into a very smart very big horse. Thank you guys!

“Compassionate, friendly & helpful staff”

I've been a client now for over 20 years and everyone has always been friendly, professional, compassionate and considerate.

One event will always stand out - the loss of a much loved horse. I rang the surgery, explained the situation, spoke to a vet who gave me clear, simple instructions to cover the period between my call and the vet's arrival.

I could not have asked more from the vet. Despite every effort my horse had to be put to sleep. The vet was wonderful, dealing with everything - talking to my insurers for the OK to destroy, arranging for disposal of carcase and still taking time to think about me.

An amazing vet and lady. Sorry, I cannot remember your name but thank you.

“experienced vet”

I've made huge breakthroughs with my mare since Bob diagnosed an ovary issue she had.
His knowledge on mares is amazing and he's always available to chat through any concerns I may have over her treatment and her general condition going forward.
