I just wanted to say thank you to the vets and vetinary nurse who took care of my cat today. Your compassion and understanding made a huge difference, your calm and loving demeanor with sadie instantly put her at ease and my last memory of her is one of content, thouroughly enjoying a little fuss before she passed, thank you for giving me that memory, for your professionalism and kindness.

£14.00 to test urine, hugely expensive to put a piece of paper in a bottle. Ordering special diet food without our say say and billing us for it. The vet would not tell us what this food was and indicated it was only available from him. We did some research and found it £8.00 cheaper on line.
I wish there was some control over what theses people charge, you go to the vets and just feel it's about money not the love of the animal.
Dear Not Happy
Please could you contact the practice to discuss this further. This does not sound like the normal service we would offer. Urine testing is important and does give us a lot of information about the health of your pet, the charge is not only for the material used in the test but for the interpretation and treatment based on this test. Most things are always cheaper on-line we all know that. As the online sites have much lower overheads (who knows where and how the food in this case is stored etc). In our case this food would have a trial that could be followed and I can guarantee it would have been correctly stored at all times. We are all here for the animals first and foremost, the cost of things is a factor you cannot get away from. Our range of diets is only available from us and not the Pets at home store as these are prescription diets and this is even more the case when it comes to urinary problems. This is the only time that insurance companies will pay for food because they know the food is the main treatment available for urinary problems. In other clinical case's where we recommend diets the insurance companies will not pay for the food as they argue you have to always feed your own pet. I am sorry that you felt you had no choice in ordering the food and that we ordered the food without your consent? This is why I would really appreciate it if you would contact Jo Giles to discuss the matter further.
Thank you for your feedback.

I can not praise the vets, nurses and receptionists at this practice enough, for all they have done for our families animal members. They are second to none in every aspect of pet care. I can not thank the team enough for the support, kindness and professionalism they have given us recently through a very difficult and emotional time with the illness of our cat Mr Bingley.
Thank you for giving us the precious time to spoil and love him, it was priceless.
You are a very special bunch! and I would have no one else
care for my animal friends and companions.
