“Simply the best”

My family and I have used Ashcroft Veterinary Surgery for a number of years. They have always been friendly, professional and taken the most amazing care of all our pets. We simply wouldn't go anywhere else.

“A Veterinary Practice with its Priorities Right”

I contacted Ashcroft Vets on a friend's recommendation. I wasn't disappointed. How refreshing to visit a practice that puts the animals' welfare first (closely followed by the welfare of the owner!)and takes a common sense approach to dealing with their problems. I brought my cat in for an operation and the staff could see I was anxious, so I was contacted as soon as it had been done to put my mind at rest.

“Our Guinea Pig ”

Unfortunately we had to have our pet guinea pig put to sleep. From the friendly staff on reception to the professionalism of the vet the service was fantastic. We even received a sympathy card which was really kind. We miss our mate 'Sandy' but the vet made the loss that bit easier. Thank you again for the way you treated us and pet..

Vets at Ashcroft have been looking after my pets for around 18 years now. My beloved cats and dogs have always been treated with empathy, kindness and absolute professionalism. From giving them booster vaccinations, right the way through various operations the Ashcroft team has been great. They supervised our Beagle puppies, they helped me to rescue a badly injured Terrier and they were there to lean on when we laid our old Beagle to rest when his kidneys failed him. Through all the trials and tribulations, highs and lows of living with animals, Ashcroft has never let me down.

Sadly, my fourteen year old rough collie was put to sleep today. From my initial telephone call to the vet coming to my car to assist me to bring my beloved dog home, I cannot praise this vet practice enough. Thank you so much for making an extremely emotional and difficult process just a little bit easier.

“Caring Vet...”

Funnily enough we were only chatting with John Issacson today as we had to take our pooch Abby to get her claws clipped...I have been a client of his now for more years than I care to remember..In fact we worked It out today It must be around 30yrs! (Is It really that long John?)..a very caring vet, he only has one one thing foremost In mind & thats the ultimate care of your pet...same goes for his staff too...We brought Abby to puppy training classes when she was a few months old...Anne who runs It has the patience of a saint ( must have to put up with our pooch!)It certainly helped In the way of socializing she Is the most socialized dog you could ever wish to meet...Ashcrofts Is a fantastic surgery & have cared for many pets of mine over the years & when the time has come to say goodbye to any of them we have been treated with the utmost care & respect from all the staff...To be honest I wouldn't take a pet of mine anywhere else not In a million years!....
