Consulted David Bentley (veterinary dermatologist) for a second opinion as my 5year old Cocker Spaniel had a recurrent infection in 2 paws. My previous vet had been treating it for 6 months with antibiotics and I had seen no improvement. He refused to do any investigation saying antibiotics were the only way to go.
David quickly diagnosed a bacterial infection which is resilient to most antibiotics and antiseptics! In 10 days he diagnosed, treated and cured the infection. He spent over 2 hours with us on our first visit and I had complete faith in him.
He answered all my questions factually and honestly and I ensured I was happy with treatment I had to continue at home.
All staff were polite, cheerful and welcoming (making me a coffee during my lengthy first visit). David Bentley was obviously a very knowledgeable specialist in his field.
I was so,impressed I am having all future veterinary needs taken care of here!

My Indian ringneck was unwell and I rang the surgery to book an appointment. The staff were very helpful and did their best to ensure my bird could be seen as soon as possible. They were very friendly and the vet did everything he could in order to help him, giving me very good advice on diet and future care. Prices are very reasonable and I got the best for what I paid. I would definitely recommend this vets to any pet owner looking for their pets to be cared for by the best. Definitely the best vet I've been to

We have used this practice for over 20 years and have always found them to be extremely friendly, helpful and very caring whenever we have visited, whether for an emergency appointment or routine check-ups. from the practice nurse to the veterinary surgeons and you never feel rushed or as though you are wasting their time when you visit
we would definitely recommend them to anyone wondering who to registered their pets with.

We recently changed to this practice as we wanted an independent vet and not one which was part of a national chain. So far we have been extremely impressed. The staff are competent and friendly and seem to truly care about your pets, and not just see £ signs.

We have two dogs who are very dear to us and as they get older are beginning to suffer a range of different problems as one can expect but Colin Brown, who we usually see, has always been most thorough in assessing their problems, accurate in his diagnosis and effective in their treatment. Our eldest, Molly, a Cairn/ Jack Russell cross with real character has had problems with both eyes, at different times. Glaucoma basically. Colin recommended we see a specialist, which we did, and who monitored her condition over a period of months. Eventually removal of the eyes was the only option which Colin then performed very skilfully and with no residual trauma for Molly who copes brilliantly with day to day life at the age of 16. The charge was an order of magnitude lower than if the specialist had done it! Muffin, Molly's daughter of 11, had a cruciate ligament repaired a while back and now you would not know, she still runs about like a mad thing. We know the charge for this work was a lot less than other friends have paid for the same operation on their similarly sized dogs.
After care at the surgery is excellent and while all vets appear to be expensive charges from B, B and B seem pretty reasonable.
We have every confidence in their work and would thoroughly recommend them.

Apollo is our 12 year old GSDxLurcher. He was a very active dog, enjoying regular walks, agility, and chasing around with his brother and our other dogs, until he trapped a nerve in his spine. After this, he found walking uncomfortable, and would need frequent rest stops. He lost some muscle tone because he just wasn't comfortable enough to get the exercise he needed. We tried various remedies, anti-inflammatories, hydrotherapy, with limited success, acupuncture, which didn't suit him at all, and then laser treatment at Bell, Brown, and Bentley, at their Leicester Forest East practice. He's had nearly a dozen sessions now, and his wellbeing has improved markedly, from only being able to walk a few hundred yards between rests (and being taken to the park in a dog stroller) to managing a six mile walk around Keldy Forest while we were on holiday recently. We have our old dog back, he's happier, and we're looking forward to enjoying his company for more years to come. We're so impressed with his improvement, we have commenced laser therapy with our GSCxCollie, who is starting to suffer from arthritis.

I would just like to express my gratitude and thanks for such a great service. Recently moved to the area and first visit to the practice following a concern over loss of mobility in my cats tail.
Appointment in under an hour of phoning for an appointment. Problem diagnosed and treated in under 1.5 hours of first phoning. Professional and caring vet who was very good with a timid cat. Medication explained and further treatment with easy instructions.
Very impressed and happy. Cat is well on the way to recovery and back to normal self.

I would recommend this practice to any pet 'owner'. Over more than sixteen years my cat received excellent care. Over the final two weeks of her life, the care shown to both her and to me was exemplary and greatly valued.
Today a 14 week old kitten was introduced to the practice, and despite the innoculations and talk of speying, she still seems calm and balanced - her 'owner' could do to use her as a role model... She found all the staff as friendly and helpful as I have always done!
