Myself, my son Michael and his girlfriend Shana came to you yesterday to discuss options for our beautiful Sassy, an 11 year old Lurcher. Sadly, we reached a painful decision to end her suffering and have her put down. The treatment Sassy and ourselves received was incredibly kind and we cannot thank you enough for your patience towards us when having to make a very difficult decision.
Sassy went peacefully.
Thank you very much.
Kathryn, Michael and Shana.

I already have given a review 'Glad I found thenm.' but since needed emergency help to save my loved cat, amazing, for out of hours the quality of staff and also they all REALLY do care, never found anyone like them before we are fighting to save her life and the expertise is well no words to describe, I was going to chain my self to her cage because I wanted to stay with her, little did I know thy encourage this, and gave me a private room for 8 hrs to be alone with her in which time she was given four visits for medication and two surgeons to discuss her situation.
What eveer the outcome I know I would not have had this quality time with her like I did today I and back with her for another 8hrs tomorrow 29th October. Thankyou Yourvets Surgery just for being there.

no advice was offered to me in regards to a basic question about specific medication and a condition to which i feel the medication is known to cause further complication to condition, the medication is in fact well known to cause complication but this practice would rather charge you for that information. be warned. if the practice decides to not show this review it will be going on social media network anyway with further details
Thank you for getting in touch Mr Pearce. Unfortunately, as we are professionally bound not to make comments about other veterinary provider's diagnoses or treatments over the phone in cases like this and would need to see the animal for a consultation before being able to make any kind of diagnosis. In this instance we suggest that you take up your issue with your existing veterinary provider, and hope that your pet recovers soon.

On Tuesday 23rd June 2015 my Chihuahua Betty was tragically attacked by her life long companion (our other dog) as she was having a seizure whilst we were out. We took her to Your Vets at Rayleigh and were greeted by their vet Catalina. Things looked very desperate for Betty as she had suffered terrible injuries, including several severe puncture wounds to her skull and her left ear was completely ripped off. Catalina was the only light for us on what was a very dark and distressing day. Her attitude and compassion was absolutely commendable. We felt 110% safe that Betty was in her hands. The prognosis looked very poor for Betty but Catalina promised she would do everything possible to save her. Catalina called us regularly to keep us updated and we never had to chase for information. After just a couple of days, Betty has improved so much. She is responding extremely well to her treatment and Catalina and the team at your vets have worked nothing short of a miracle for her. Betty is now fit and stable enough to go to Cambridge to have reconstruction surgery to her ear on Monday. We owe everything to this wonderful team and we are so amazed and astounded that she is alive let alone thriving. We truly cannot thank Catalina and all the staff involved for saving our little girl. Thank you so much to all of you. Please do not hesitate to take your pet to these guys, they are brilliant. One other thing, we were not informed ever in 3 years since her diagnosis of epilepsy, of the risks that were present with two or more dogs being together when one is ill or having a seizure. Catalina informed us that it can be in a dogs nature to attack and kill another dog if they are behaving out of the norm or having a seizure. Please keep your pets apart when they are not supervised to avoid what happened to our Betty and us. This has ripped us all apart and we now have to also find a new home for our other dog. Once again a huge heartfelt thank you to Catalina and Your Vets Rayleigh, we owe you everything.

I never ever leave a review on anything, I am a very respecting person and extremely understanding and I have myself succes in animal science and management, I don't expect perfection from anyone just love and care when it comes to anyone's pet, but this place has nothing but money on their mind!!! I turnt up and there were fantastically quick at seeing too my cat however we had told them at the reception out cat was extremely shy as it is a rescued stray however this was not considered at all, they just took him away from us and we wasn't aloud in the room, they hardly looked at him for 4 minuets and told us he needs to be put down immediately or have hundreds of pounds spent with an extremely poor explanation of what was even wrong with my cat, we have had problems with this vet before they done half a job on another one of my pets operation and we noticed he still had lumps in him which they 'forgot' to remove so he had too go under twice and we had too pay twice!!! Anyway the reason I am so angry is we took my cat home wanting a second opinion which we had done today at Vets4Pets Southend airport and they we AMAZING and hardly charged us a thing, we would of been happy to pay hundreds but all they cared about was seeing us and the pet happy! To get to the point my lovely rescuded cat should be buried under the ground according too your vets but no, he has been home for 3 hours and purring constantly eating more food then ever and even running around! He had fluid on his lungs which the vet noticed immediately! His an old cat and has more problems but he defiantly has a few more months or even years left to live happily in this guy! He needs fluid draining every now and then and we are more then happy to have this done knowing his in no pain and alive with all the information we need and advice ! Please don't take your lovely pets to your vets!!!!! It is not worth it! They want your money and neither have the care or knowledge of what they are doing. I understand there is lovely staff working at your vets and must be some that care but it's not acceptable we've never left happy from this place and my pet wasn't checked correctly and we had too pay for this check up which was a waste of time.
I'm sorry to hear that your visit did not appear to be good value. We always aim to give good value for money and I would like the opportunity to investigate this case. I appreciate that it involves further effort from you whilst you are already dissatisfied, but if you would like contact myself or our practice manager with the name of your pet and your contact details we would value you giving us the opportunity to look into this case.
