We have used Sam and the team for over a year now, whether its routine check ups, advice or just reassurance, you can guarantee there is always a friendly person to help.
The reception staff are super helpful and friendly and Sam's love for animals is clear to see.
I know our pets are in good hands!

I honestly cant begin to tell you how amazing this surgery is. The whole team from receptionist to vet is absolutely outstanding. Samantha is an amazing vet! She cared for my bunny who was very unwell and even took him home with her overnight to keep an eye on him! I recieved regular phone calls to keep me updated on my bunny. I have heard loads of horror stories about other vetinary surgeries but i have recommended this one to everone i know with animals. I cannot express enough how thankful i am to this team especially samantha for saving my bunnies life.

Our old and faithful dog, Lucky, finally reached the point in his life when he needed to be put to sleep. We booked an appointment after spending our last night with him, for the following morning. When we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and compassion. The small touches, chairs provided to sit with him, a blanket and a pillow for Lucky, all the time we needed to say good bye made a horrible situation bearable. All the staff were completely professional but you just knew they cared. The card we recieved from them all afterwards was a lovely gesture. I could not give enough praise to this practise. Thank you.

My dog chester was unwell he had fat lumps in his throat which were crushing his windpipe. Chester was booked in for surgery unfortunately they could not remove the lump as it was a mass across his chest he was recovering well bloods were taken and he had a thyroid problem. He took a turn for the worse on the 25the November and took him to the out of hours vets at Backworth he had an injection to take the swelling down which worked but the Thursday night it started again unfortunately he died on the friday morning of the 29th November. I didn't have a clue what to do but rang Sarah and she put me in touch with the Pet crematorium they picked him up and received him back on the 4th December. Sarah and the staff sent me a lovely sympathy card to which it was greatly received also a christmas card which was so nice. Their caring is absolutely fabulous and couldn't praise them enough. Thank you so much for looking after my Chester
