Our poor wee pup had a bout of gastro-enteritis and the staff were caring, compassionate and even fussed him-they even called the day after the appointment to check how he was doing, which I felt was excellent. Our other dog has had hip dysplasia for many years, and the staff are equally as caring for him even though he is a bit of a grouch and older. Our older boy also had an operation with them as he had hurt his paw a few months back and they were absolutely brilliant in regards to information on keeping the bandage clean, how often to walk him etc. They are always clear on procedures and understand worries from owners, the vets and the nurses are excellent-would never go anywhere else.

I would thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice - i have had 3 dogs over the last 22 years all who have been cared for throughout their lives by this practice, the care gets better and better, my 6 month old puppy has recently had an operation - the treatment and care provided before during and after has been excellent.

I was very fortunate to discover Ashton vets (now goddards) 5 years ago. I have 7 cats and a dog so I spend a lot of time at the vets so it is very important to me to have an excellent relationship with the staff.
Thankfully we have had the same wonderful staff for the past 5 years and each and everyone of them really, genuinely cares about animals welfare. This practice is not about making tons of money. This practice is about making sick animals well and doing everything they can to put the owners mind at ease at the same time.
I have recommended this vets to all my friends and family as I spend so much time there i see all the staff as friends now.
Although each member of staff is wonderful I must mention a few who really stand out.
Lisa and Marie are on front desk and are a couple of angels. They are often taking on sick animals at their own expense to get back to full health so they can find new homes for them.
They always greet you personally and always make time to give your pet a fuss before they go through to see the vet. I would be devastated if either of these wonderful girls left.
Russell and Julia are two of the finest vets you could ask for. They really are good, kind people who I trust completely. When my female cat was sick last year Julia rang me every night for a month to see how she was. Can you imagine another vet showing that genuine level of care?
We now have a new permanent vet at addington called Kay. I am thrilled to say she fits into our practice perfectly. She cares, she never rushes you and she has every time made sure your pet has a big fuss. She is proving to be a firm favourite with all us customers.
Keep up the great work everyone, we are all so grateful to you.

I have attended this practice many times over the years. The new vet Kay is lovely... She clearly loves the animals she attends to as do the nurses. Its really nice to see the same vet each time you attend the surgery as they can see how your pet is improving. Its clean, its friendly and I would trust them with any of my current and future pets.

Wow where do I start, Kay and her staff were fantastic with my mum and her very poorly kitten they went above and beyond the call of duty for both of them. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and care they showed. I cannot speak any higher of Kay she is a fantastic and brilliant vet and I would recommend Goddards to anyone.

I have for many years used this practice for the dogs and cats I have had over the years, it's a great friendly practice and local to me. The staff are always helpful and considerate.
I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
I do find Vets fees etc quite expensive though, only downside.

I and my cocker spaniel Honey have been attending this practice for 8 years and all my previous dogs were clients here as well.
It is a lovely practice with the best nursing team ever. They now have a fantastic Vet who I thoroughly trust with Honey. Both myself and Honey feel totaly at ease with the Vet and all the nurses. Honey must be the only dog who looks forward to attending the practice. She loves them all. Lisa and Marie (the two nurses) are a double act of caring professionalism coupled with a high degree of friendliness/helpfulness. I trust them all explictly.
Therefore, I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs their pet looked after throughout their lives.

I have taken my cat to Goddard vets in new addington for many years - a complicated cat with many different health issues. The vet and nurses, lisa and marie have always been very helpful, professional and caring. I really cannot speak highly enough of them. My cat was recently put to sleep and their support extended beyond his passing - fantastic, caring people! I won't hesitate to take any future animals to them.
