From the Puppy Parties with the amazing and very patient Amanda to the wonderful and helpful reception staff in particular Sue; the care my little April Sky has received from Towerwood Vets has been brilliant and has helped me immensely with my first pet. A very happy customer :)

Having had dogs for over 50 years this was the first experience of PUPPY PARTY
I cannot praise this scheme too highly
It was brilliant for socialising pups before they are allowed out in the big bad world
Have had no problems once my pup came into contact with grown up dogs
Also the information gained at the PP is excellent for people who had never owned a dog before
After having such an upsetting time at Yorkshire vets with my last dog it is so good to have the team at Towerwood look after my new dog
They pay careful attention to each dogs needs and recommend treatment based on each individual case
We have taken out the scheme which pays for yearly worming /flea treatments and find it very reassuring to have health checks every 3 months

Jake is an energetic, curious Coker Spaniel who will be one on Thursday! He started going to Towerwood at 9 weeks old and 'graduated' from the puppy party scheme. Whilst he did not necessarily enjoy the sessions, he did get used to going to the Vets and gradually overcame his nervousness of other dogs. They gave me a great deal of good tips and the confidence to look after Jake. Jake saves his biggest wags for Amanda as a result of these sessions.
The care you get from the minute you walk in is fabulous, from the reception staff to the nurses and vets. This also applies on the phone, no question is too silly and they will always find time to talk. When Jake has needed treatment, rather than pro-active prevention, time has always been taken to explain what is happening and what to expect. On the one occasion Jake needed specialist treatment he was referred immediately and Towerwood followed this up; they are genuinely concerned for your pet's welfare.
Following discussions with Amanda and the rest of the nursing team, Jake is completely raw food fed and is a picture of health. He is also a lot easier to pick up after and loves meal times. We got lots of advice on feeding him and re-assurance when he got hold of things he should not!
I would and have, recommended Towerwood Vets without hesitation. I know that Jake is being given the best care and that they know he is a very special member of the family. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

We traveled from Sheffield to Leeds every month to Tower Wood Vets. One of only a few 'holistic vets in the North that works with both traditional and complimentary approaches. We feel our dog returned from the brink with homeopathy care from a serious liver condition. Off steroids, detoxed and back to the dog we knew. The staff are very professional, caring and empathetic. Phone calls returned, even after office hours and homeopathic tinctures mailed when necessary. Full range of all natural, human grade dog foods(no grain/fillers)along with educational lectures on feeding pets a better quality food. Not many veterinarian clinics offer that! Traditional foods also but for those open to educating themselves on many levels - a must go to vet clinic. We were also able to work on some behavioral issues with huge improvement using homeopathy. Dr Brendan and team are the vets of the future, on top of their game and their continuing education in 'all' aspects of veterinarian management both traditional and complimentary. Just what is needed for those of us who would like to know all the options!
