“Excellent vet”

Very good experience taking my cat here - the whole team are friendly and Ian is a very skilled vet. It's never nice having to take your animal to the vet but I felt he was in very good hands here.

“Outstanding vets”

I am the first person to admit that I am not the easiest client in the world. I have incredibly high expectations of anyone that I entrust with my pets health and well-being. I have been to more vets than most people would ever imagine! I always find a vet whenever I move to a new area and make sure that I book a consultation so that the vets have a chance to meet my girls and give them a general health check and ensure that they have received any relevant notes from my previous vets. If I'm not happy with any aspect of the care offered during the initial consult I will not return and find a different vet (like I said - not an easy client)
I also have friends who are vets so I'm used to questioning any advice given and have been known to phone friends and check that meds/ treatment plans are correct.
All that being said, I am so happy and impressed with all the staff at Vet 4 Life. From the moment you enter as a first time client they have time for you and genuinely care about your pets. They don't just see them as a way for making money. I have been very lucky to have my girls treated by Ian who is not only a fantastic vet but is very calm and gentle with them during consults (useful with a manic vet-phobic cat). He never hurries you out at the end of the consult and is happy to answer all my many and varied questions and find a treatment plan that works for the girls and me. All the vet nurses and support staff that I have met have also been very kind and friendly.
Vet 4 Life have now started a fantastic new program that allows you to spread the cost of some of your pet care over the year (I suggest you contact them directly for more details). I think that this is a fantastic idea because I can now budget my costings over the year and know that I can visit Ian whenever I need to.
I certainly won't be looking for a new vet anytime soon (sorry guys you're stuck with me!)
Having an old dog and cat I know that they won't be with me forever - but I do know that if I ever have to make any difficult and painful decisions that I will have Ian and all the team at Vet 4 Life behind me and supporting me and that my girls will be superbly cared for and treated with dignity, kindness and respect.
Thank you so much Vet 4 Life
Best wishes
Sophie, Venice and Orange

“Just Amazing!”

We registered Biscuit the cat with Vet 4 Life when she was still a tiny kitten as they were local to us and at the time we really had no idea how wonderful they would be. As their name suggests, I really do think that this is now our vet for life, I couldn't go anywhere else!

The staff are friendly, welcoming, caring and professional. As first time kitten owners they guided us on the correct care for Biscuit and were happy to answer any crazy questions that we had.

I trust them 110% and feel genuinely pleased to know that whatever she needs will be taken care of. She is in good hands with Ian and all the staff.

“A great practice. ”

My kittens were treated so kindly and fussed over by the staff. They recovered well from surgery and I received a call the following morning to see how they were doing. I'm very happy with the service and they also have long opening hours which helps when you work full time.

“Excellent and Friendly ”

We registered our 7 year old black lab Jack in September on returning to Teddington after several years overseas. We have always received excellent and thorough attention from our first visit and including the several emergency visits we have needed. We have called the practice and been given appointments straight away for kennel cough, gastroenteritis and most recently for an extreme allergic reaction to a bee sting. There are always plenty of cuddles and treats and Jack has no problem with a visit to the vet. In fact we often walk past the vets and Jack will actually sit down by the front door hoping he is going to go in ! We have always had an excellent experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friend.

“Best Vet in Teddington....London....UK!”

I cannot thank the staff enough at this practice. I dont know I or my rescue dog would have survived without them. My dog doesn't socialise with other dogs and so they let me in when no other animals around and try to look after him as an outpatient rather than keeping him in nd therefore scaring him. The staff are wonderful from Ian to Alex to Donna to Julie to Sally.... I think my dog has a crush on Donna as he must be the only dog to want to go to the vets just to see her. I am so pleased with their service and kindness and hand on heart can recommend them to anyone. Honestly if you want the truth but in a caringnway by people who understand that pets are part of the family....you cannot go wrong here! Thank you

“Nail trim for my hamster”

A couple of months ago I brought my hamster (Milford) is to have his nails trimmed. I had been warned by other people that he may need a whiff of anaesthetic but I was so impressed that all paws were trimmed neatly with no anaesthetic needed and he did not squirm or try to bite so I knew he was happy. He has literally had a new lease of life since then (he's 1-year and 8 months old). So, it's not just cats and dogs that are cared for but also small animals. A lovely friendly practice with professional staff who care (also a pleasure to see caring for the animals takes precedence over selling expensive foods/products as with other vet practices) - thank you so much.

“More than a vet, our friend.”

We first met Ian Stroud 10 years ago when we arrived in SW London with our two rescue cats Butch and Sundance.

From the start, Ian has always gone the extra mile to advise and help us and has always taken his time to get to know us and our cats, so whenever we need help he knows exactly what might be wrong.

On occasions when I simply couldn't catch the cats to go into see him for their jabs, he simply arranged to do a home visit. Very thoughtful and much appreciated.

We have just added a Cockerpoo puppy to the family mix and once again, when I expressed concern on day 2, Ian popped round to reassure.

He runs his modern practice in a manner that shows he is at the top of his game. Our puppy will be having keyhole spaying next.

I can highly recommend his practice.

“Really happy with how well the dogs were fussed over and great value”

This is the first time that we used Teddington Vet4life, aas we are moving to the area we wanted our dogs with a local practice.

The dogs were fussed over and made to feel very relaxed before they had their vaccinations.

I felt that we were dealing with experienced, caring staff and advice given was in the best interest of the dogs.

Prices are perfectly reasonable.

I am more than happy to recommend this very nice practice for service, care, cleanliness and price.

“Great Practice”

I recently registered my 5 year old Lab Bella at Vets4life, Bella was due her yearly check up and Vaccinations.
I have followed Vets4life on Facebook for the last few months and have been so impressed by their enthusiasm, community spirt and the information they provide regarding our pets.
I also recently attended a talk by Ian on Pain relief in Dogs, cats and rabbits, again , very informative.
So as Bella was due a visit, i decided to change pratices. We were made to feel very welcome by the nurse on reception and Bella enjoyed her treats!
We were seen by Alexandra, a lovely vet, who gave Bells a thorough examination, more treats, and a clean bill of health!
We met up again at Teddington village fair, where Vets4life had a stall, selling lovely homemade biscuits. We purchased the Lavender hearts, which we were told had a calming effect, Bella loved them, although we are still to see the calming effect!!!!
We are pleased to have joined such a lovely practice!

Even when one of our predecessors had cancer uncle Ian was able to gender reassign him to rid him of it, the word in gerbil world is there is no one out there quite like Uncle Ian he has all the tools and gadgets at just the right size to treat us small furries. he is so kind and gentle that we even let him trim our teeth without knocking us out! his team are great too always making us feel special when we go in.
