“Handles Neurotic Owners with care”

I couldn't recommend Grant high enough. I had a 13 year old dog that got ill and I kept going back and emailing with "different ideas" knowing really all the time it was my Alfie's time. all the I was fluctuating with being angry upset and resolved to the inevitable. Grant and his staff dealt with me with great patience and also of course Alfie. Grant took such care with Alfie and me and when the time came was so respectful of my wishes. Grant has a great back up team in his staff and this review is by way of thanks to them.

“Caring Vet and friendly Staff”

We have been attending Medivet at Waltham Abbey for many years and have always found the staff friendly and caring.
Since Grant, who we have found to be the most caring Vet we have met, has been working there - it seems like one big happy family! We have had several collies and they are not the most bravest of dogs but they are treated with such patience by all the staff and spoilt rotten!!
We will never forget the care our previous dog "Max" received when he started going lame and when we finally had to part with him - Grant and his staff helped us over a very difficult time.
Thank you Medivet - please don't ever let Grant "go back home"!!

“Excellent service”

Have been going to Grant at Medivet waltham abbey for several years now after chopping & changing with other surgery`s because of poor service.
As i have 4 dogs i can spend most of time visiting Grant & the service, care & friendly welcome we all receive is second to none.
All of the dogs love going in to the surgery whether it`s for their annual checkup or more serious an opertion as Grant & all the staff spoil them.
I can not express enough how much they do for me & my dogs & would be lost if Grant ever left he`s a true star.
A big thankyou to everyone at Medivet.

“Would Recommend ”

Last year one of our cats was mauled by a dog, had a nasty infection and refused to eat. I think some practices would have given up as at one point the situation was critical. However the doggedness of Grant and his team ensured that Hugo (cat) made a full recovery and for that we are grateful

More recently another of our cats developed liver cancer so we were aware that at some point Harry would no longer be with us. When the time came Grant acted with a lovely balance of sympathy and professionalism - you do get the impression that all the staff there actually care about the animals and that it is not just a business

“Pet friendly Staff”

Barney my dog had an infected bone in one of his paws and has been in and out of the vets quite a a lot. They have poked and prodded ,operated and done all sorts of things to him. The staff make him so welcome and he never pulls away but runs up to meet them when he needs treatment or check ups. I think that shows how well they care for the animals they treat.

“Cannot praise him highly enough”

We have used Grant, and his team, exclusively since we 'discovered' him.
Until last year, we had a cat who would charitably described as 'difficult', and perhaps more accurately 'a raging psychopath whenever near a vet'
Despite frustration, scratches and out and out bloody mindedness from him (the cat, not Grant), they nursed him through the usual vaccinations and treatments, and showed incredible dedication when he was extremely ill with something that we never really got to the bottom of.

Sadly (at least for us) the cat passed away about a year ago, but Grant and the team continue to care for for our remaining cats with the same absolute dedication.

We really will be very distressed should he ever decide to go 'home'
