Practice Details

Parkside has 3 pet surgeries, in and around Dundee but also has an equine centre and we carry out work on farms and small-holdings.  Our 4-vet Equine team is distinct from the 12 vets working with pets.

We work our own on-call, so your emergencies are always seen by a Parkside vet.

We can offer free on-site parking, long consulting hours and a host of specialties (which you can see on our web site) from highly-trained professionals.

We are a nurse training centre and Accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for your peace of mind.

“Thank you Parkside. You are wonderful!”

I recently had to call out the vet at night, praying that I would get through, not sure if parkside had pushed their night work to one of these Night Vets which I don't fancy and I was relieved to talk to Melissa, who had the misfortune to see my and my Ruby who was trying to have pups but was stuck! Two hours later she was at home with me plus eight red setter pups and it was only 4am! Thanks for the care, the expertise, the help, the phone calls - you are wonderful! Your nurse ?Mandy was wonderful too and gave me great advice.
I've been going to Parkside for over 10 years now and the attention to detail and care just gets better. It cost me over seven hundred pounds = one pup, when I sell them - in the middle of the night! A bargain!
Thank you all.

“Best Vets”

Having moved to Dundee 2 years ago, we have had experience of vets ion the midlands and I can honestly say that Parkside are far superior in all aspects. They are very professional, in great premises, where you feel the vets are really listening and wanting to do their best for you and your pet. My pointer Douglas (I know!) was in recently with a fairly major gut upset needing drips and other medication for a couple of days. Felt very confident he would get the best treatment. I was updated regularly, going in to see him in the afternoons after work. The nurses were fabulous and I could see he was getting lots of attention and they really did care. Most thanks to Catherine (vet), Mandi and Lesley (nurses). You are all great!

“I think Parkside are great!”

Parkside have been my vets for many years now and I believe you get what you pay for and that is the best care for a fair price. My kids down south pay much more for their pets' veterinary care. Rapid use of their lab recently allowed a really fast diagnosis when Ruben had an anaemia problem and the fast treatment probably saved his life. The staff are great and I can't believe the odd bad review I have read because I have never been anything but happy with my pets' treatment or my care. Maybe the opposition are posting these! Thanks to Stuart and Freya who helped me recently. Ruben says you're great too!

I put this on the Facebook review too.

“Best vets around”

I have lived in Dundee for nearly 10 years now and have experienced vets down South. My dog and cat have gone to Parkside and I find their care and attention to detail fantastic. Gino, my French bulldog had a fair bit of surgery as well as the usual things and I can't fault the care he received. Nurses were fab and kept me informed when he was kept in once and the vets seemed very knowledgeable and were amazing with the ultrasound he needed. First class and I recommend them to anyone. Great premises too. And my friend says her horse loves Richard!

As Fred was admitted for three days, with surgery for a spleen growth (benign thankfully) I have been much involved with the staff at Parkside and I have been greatly impressed by the care and dedication Fred has been given. Very thorough, lots of cuddles and the nurses really had his wellbeing of paramount importance, especially with him being hospitalised. The vets were great too, carrying out this op using the night and keeping me informed all the time. Premises are fantastic but I was so impressed with the staff. Thank you all.

“Amazing treatment! ”

My Border Terrier was rushed into Parkside with an unknown illness, she was seriously ill and very close to death. Whilst she stayed at Parkside she received amazing treatment. I was welcome to see her any time I wanted and I was always greeted with friendly caring staff. The care she received was second to none and I will never forget the kindness and care that both Becky and I received. I'm pretty sure if it hadn't been for all the vets and nurses, Becky would no longer be here and I'll always be very grateful. My horse is now registered with Parkside equine and she receives the same level of care. Just want to say a huge thank you to all the vets, nurses and staff at Parkside for their amazing treatment and kindness.

“I love Parkside”

My human always takes me to Parkside when I'm poorly. I don't normally like going to the vet but the staff at Parkside are always kind to me and make me feel better. Even when I can't tell my human what is wrong, the clever doctors here find out. Now that I'm quite old, I need them more than ever. My human says that when she's poorly she hopes her doctors will look after her as well as Parkside take care of me.
