At Runnymede, we're privately owned, and 100% committed to the health and wellbeing of your pet. That's why thousands of pet owners just like you have trusted Runnymede Hill Vet Hospital for more than 25 years. We have deep roots in the local community and are proud to have provided continous 24/7 care since first opening our doors in the 1970s.
How is your pet guaranteed exceptional care? We simply care about pets and were one of the first ever veterinary practices to be granted hospital status by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; a status that we are incredibly proud of and which reflects our excellent standards of care.

The talk last night was very informative, people need to do their research when choosing a breed of dog, especially if it comes with health problems, and knowing that a dog that can't breathe shouldn't be seen as cute or normal, they need help.

Great vets that listen, they made me aware of how much it would cost and gave me options. The girls on reception are very friendly.

Really great vets and experience, I took my puppy in for his injections. W
as treated very well, my puppy was treated
Ted like a king. Lots of fuss and attention and they even have their own puppy classes.

My puppy really enjoyed the Puppy party which was over 2 sessions. The timing was good (just 1 hour each session) and she loved meeting other puppies in a safe environment.
Equally it was great for me to get some advice on how to manage behaviour etc. Big Thank you !!

I would highly recommend Runnymede Hill Vets. They are all caring, compassionate people with a genuine love of animals. They are reasonably priced and are happy to help with all sorts of queries. I wouldn't take my 2 cats anywhere else.

We were referred to Runnymede Vets by our currently vet in Woodley, Reading following the diagnosis of an undershot jaw in a puppy.
Obviously, having been with a vet for over 12 years the thought of going to see a specialist based over 20 miles away is daunting for the pet owners. However, we were immediately put at ease by the lovely June Shurvall when we arrived. As the appointment was early in the morning and due to the distance/roads we left in plenty of time. June was more than helpful to make us feel comfortable and reassured.
We then met Paul Hobson, the specialist. Paul was also incredibly supportive and helped us understand the exact situation and need for the large operation that our puppy was about to have.
Monty was looked after so well and will need to return for further surgery in the next couple of months. At least, going forward, we know that both Monty and ourselves will be looked after by the surgery and their staff.
I should imagine that if we lived locally in the area we would not hesitate to choose the surgery as our main practice.
Thank you again for everything.

We started using Pets 1st in 2013 when we moved to the area and couldn't be happier with the service we have recived.
The team of receptionists are always curtious and professional. And full of knowledge.
The vets I have felt with so far have equally been fantastic. From our dogs castration to day to day health checks.
I would definitely recommend the practice!
