I switched to Hillside vets over a year ago after my previous vets wouldn't see my poorly Degu's due to them being 'exotic' animals. I called Hillside who saw them straight away and, although they sadly needed to be put to sleep, Hillside were so kind and caring.
I then moved the care of my elderly rabbit to Hillside who were amazing in her final days and weeks and sent us the most lovely card after she passed away.
7 months ago we got our first puppy and Hillside have been amazing. Always have useful advice and don't mind us just popping in to say hello as he just loves it there!
I know our dog is in good hands with Hillside.

We have been registered with Hillside for over 12 years now and I can honestly say that I have nothing but praise for Hillside Veterinary Centre.
I have taken family pets of different varieties to them for care, but mainly my two dogs - a Jack Russell and a Lurcher whom we sadly lost to cancer this week.
The vets are knowledgeable, professional, thorough, caring, compassionate and absolutely trustworthy.
I have never been given anything other than wonderful service from all the staff and I cannot praise them highly enough.

I moved to Upton with Gerry (Goldie, now 12) in 2011 from well outside the area leaving a vet that I thought I couldn't replace, he was that good. The first practice I registered with I walked out on immediately - totally unprofessional at the desk so I didn't even want to try them. I've tried 2 others since, (and gained Tara, 4 and a half, Goldie/Lab cross) whilst I couldn't find fault with them I wasn't really happy.
As luck would have it one of my neighbours wasn't happy with her vet and tried Hillside, she came back singing their praises so I decided to give it a go. I'm really glad I did. So far they've been wonderful. Extremely thorough and very caring. So I can have another really good vet after all - and I have VERY high standards! Since I first went I've found other people singing their praises - it's just a shame I didn't find them earlier, but I have now so I'm one very happy dog owner.

I was recommended Hillside by the RWAF as I had to change vets. After a very promising initial consultation I booked in one of rabbits to be spayed, she was operated on yesterday.
I was so pleased with the staff, the care of Truffle whilst in their care and all the post op care offered I knew without hesitation that I had done the right thing, my rabbits will get gold star service from the entire team.
The practice might charge more than other practices but I am happy to pay this knowing that my animals health and well being will be their top priority.

I have practically lived at hillside over the last 10years with my dogs. They have always gone out of their way to help and have been brilliant. They are certainly not the cheapest in the area but wouldn't go anywhere else. And when it comes 2 the worst part of owning a pet, Chris could not have offered us more care, considerataion and dignity to me and my dogs at the end.

The staff are always pleasant and take time to talk. Keith is always caring and gentle towards my cats when they've visited. I like how a text message is sent when the cats need either their flee treatment or wormer.

We have taken our pets (dog, rabbits, chicken, tortoise...) to Hillside Veterinary Centre over the years and cannot recommend them enough. Whether its a quick telephone call for advise, or to visit for an appointment, we receive such a warm and friendly greeting from them - humans and our animals! Holly our Shih Tzu knows to go straight to the desk for her doggy-treat!! Their level of care and advice is both caring and professional, nothing is ever too much trouble, and the centre is always very clean and hygienic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Casey says: "I see Chris a lot. He helps me with my kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, allergic skin condition and arthritis. I am 15 now and I have never been anywhere else. Chris always helps put me at my ease and my Food Slave mummy thinks he gives her the best advice on how to look after me. He's amazing!"
Smudge says: " I'm nearly 9 now and I've always gone to Hillside. I like to play the vets and nurses up when I'm there as I'm a feisty tortoiseshell but I'm a little angel at home!! Whoever I see though is always great and I've had help lately with getting a claw stuck in my eye apart from my normal jabs. I'm due to go again soon for flea treatment and I'm trying to decide who to play up and embarrass my Food Slave mummy!"
Casper says: "I'm the newest addition to the cat clan as I'm a 17 week old kitten who looks like butter wouldn't melt haha!! Chris has already seen me for a thorough check over, to neuter me :( and microchip me. I was a good boy. I've also had a wasp sting removed from my paw. I quite like going up there as everyone loves me!!"
The cats vote Hillside ten out of ten every time and so does their Food Slave mum!
