I have been attending the veterinary practice in Dalston Lane since 1998 and have always been impressed with the professional, dedicated and extremely hardworking staff. There is a really good-humoured atmosphere and they always make an effort to fit us in even though its a very busy practice. And now it's even better since the new vet Toni Nguyen arrived from Sydney last September. She is incredibly caring and serious about each animal and owner. My ageing cat who used to crouch traumatised on the examining table, now stretches out purring, loving every bit of attention she gets. It's nothing short of miraculous Alice at fourteen years of age now actually enjoys the vet. In fact, she shows signs that she may even prefer Toni to me! She pricks up her ears and begins to purr once she hears Toni's voice. It is a wonderful feeling when pets show that amount of trust - I have no doubt Alice couldn't be in better hands!

|On 3rd March our cat Sirius,(a 10 year old black and white neutered Tom)was very badly bitten by a pregnant female fox who was trying to make a den in our back garden. He was taken to Medivet Dalston where he was seen by Toni, the vet, who immediately kept him so that she could stitch up his tail. She commented, that she had never seen such a bad bite on a tail. We picked him up the same day with tail bandaged and a collar to prevent him from biting the stitches.
Sirius, needless to say, managed to pull on the bandage and eventually removed it SEVERAL TIMES (almost every other day). Toni, patiently re-applied the bandage every time. After about 20 days the wound was sufficiently healed to enable the bandage to be removed permanently.
We would certainly recommend this vet's practice to anyone with a sick animal, for friendly and efficient service

My mini schnauzer unfortunately had to have a hernia operation last week and I found the new vet at Dalston AbbeyVet, Toni Nguyen, excellent. She is very calm and efficient and made us feel less worried about the procedure. She gave a confident diagnosis of the condition and the operation went well. The post operative care was also very good and I now have my dog back to full health. I would also like to thank the vet nurses/reception staff as well for their friendliness and efficiency.
