“Best Vet Practice I have Ever Used”

Over the last year I have had to Visit Banstead Village Vets almost every month and sometimes 2 or 3 times a month, I have 4 Black Labradors and two of them have had a litter of pups during the last year. Andy was called at 2am when one of my bitches was having trouble birthing, He was also on hand over the first week of the pups been born as the mother was having problems which spread to the pups, Without Andy's help the mother and some of the pups would not have survived. He also constantly got in touch checking about them. Andy and His staff could not be more helpful if they tried.

I took my young stud dog up to see him one Tuesday lunchtime as it was being sick and was very down, Andy Checked him over and took x-rays, The next thing Andy did was to get his staff to cancel his afternoon surgery and spent 5 hours operating on my young dog to unblock his small intestine, the dog had eaten a dog toy rope which caused the Problem.

The Very Next Day one of my other dogs Joy had swallowed a stone and Andy was back in the operating room again to do the same operation. Both dogs recovered fully but without the speedy intervention by Andy both could have died.

I have found animals injured on the road and have taken them to Andy and he does all he can to help and save the animal.

Banstead Village Vets are the only practice I would recommend and I have used others in the area. I trust wholeheartedly Andy and his Staff with all of my dogs, Many of my friends, acquaintances and owners of pups I have reared all use Banstead Village Vets at 170a High Street Banstead.

“Best vet surgery in Banstead”

I have been a customer of Banstead Village Vets for over two years. I have an elderly cat with heart problems, and thanks to Andy, my cat is coping very well (he will be 16 this year). I have always been treated with courtesy and help is always on hand for telephone reassurance and advice.

This practice is a real asset to our village.

“Banstead Village Vet the best around”

Andy and his team have looked after our pets for the last 6 years since we moved from another surgery in Banstead. We still use him even though we have moved some miles away. He has given brilliant care to all our pets with a special mention for our Lurcher whose life he saved. Thanks to all of you for your care and attention.

“Amazing Andy and his wonderful team”

I cannot speak highly enough of Andy and his wonderful team at Banstead Village Vets and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My Boxer Baggers has been looked after by Andy for nearly eight years and even when he is poorly he is so happy to see everyone there. When we go to see him with very vague symptoms such as "I don't know what is wrong with him but he's just not right", Andy always sorts him out and makes him better again.

Baggers has had lots of visits and has just recovered from an operation to remove a lump on his leg, he also has a heart murmur which is monitored. Even when an emergency occurs as it did when Baggers was bitten by another dog he was seen straight away and patched up! Nothing is too much trouble for this great team, the care, compassion and constant reassurance received by everyone here is outstanding.

I would not entrust my Baggers to anyone else.................oh and they do the best dog treats!!!!

Love the new website.

“Professional, welcoming and compassionate”

The team at Banstead Village Vets, headed by Andy Downing are a pretty special group of people. Their true professionalism is combined with a welcoming friendliness that instantly puts their clients at ease. They totally understand the very close relationships that we have with our pets and, when difficult decisions have to be made, they are both supportive and very compassionate. I certainly consider them to be my friends and, never hesitate to recommend their services whenever I get the opportunity. In fact, I can't sing their praises loudly enough!
