Our cat decided she wanted our home in which to live and us as her slaves. She was already registered with Carrickfergus vets4pets so we just took her there to start vaccinations over again and get chip details transferred.
We think ourselves very lucky to have done so. You would have to go a very long way to find vets, nurses and admin staff that are so kind, obliging and helpful and they are certainly looking after our cat and us extremely well. We always get an appointment when we need, always given full information, shown x-rays and have them explained, given common sense, easily understood instructions and listened to even if we are occasionally over-anxious owners!

We have been with this vet from day 1 for our dog Bailey who has been very ill on a few occasions. 1 phone call and they just fit him in, phone advice always available. I have noticed on a few last visits they are extremely busy which just shows how great they are. Bailey is still having ongoing treatment & they love him just as much as us. Jo the vet has known Bailey since he was a pup and he has a special bond with her but all the other vets and nurses to receptionists are fantastic. They even sorted our insurance out which takes the stress away. Will always be there for Bailey & us so what more can we ask for.

The service and support we received when our dog was diagnosed with cancer was a very much appreciated when having to make decisions about her end of life pathway, not only for the dog but for us as a family. Support and kindness right through to the end.
Thankyou to abigail and the team

Have used Brook lane, Vets for pets for our 2 cats and dog for many years. Can not recommend them highly enough. All the staff I have come into contact with have been caring and professional. They are the first ever vets that I have encountered that I feel actually love the animals that they treat, and are not just treating for monetary purposes. Sadly one of my cats died there and the care not only my cat received, but also myself was exceptional.

Very helpful staff. The vet knew exactly what was wrong with my new guinea pig,she cudled him and talked to him like she was a person (lol) and associated its infection from a pet store that I had purchased it from. The treatment was relatively easy to administer and the vet gave me advice to contact the pet store and have my vet bill refunded. At which I did! Very happy with the treatment and service and advice!

My boxer dog had a multitude of problems but all of the staff here treated her as if she was their own much-loved pet. They were friendly, understanding, honest and always gave me the information I needed to choose the right option for her. She was never distressed by them, I cannot speak highly enough of the way the vets and support staff looked after my poorly pup.
I would not hesitate to recommend V4P Carrickfergus to anyone, and if I take on another dog in the future they will be my only choice to provide care.
I would say they are slightly more expensive than others may be - but in my opinion it is worth it for the care we received.
Ladies at V4P if you are reading this - Laila and I thank you most sincerely for all you did.
