“Robert the vet based at London Rd Reading ”

On the 30th December 2015 we had to rush our dog into the London Rd, Reading surgery. She was seen by Robert. Sadly we had to make the decision to put her to sleep, but Roberts kindness and professionalism made a difficult time a little more bearable. Although we have decided to not have another dog, we would like to wish all staff at Medivet Reading the very best for the future. Robert is a credit to Medivet and we can't thank him enough.

@MatildaTheCat was registered at the London Road practice for 17 years. We had her neutered, chipped and given her annual vaccinations here and despite her being a particularly healthy cat (and therefore low on maintenance and vet fees), we never got the impression that she was anything other than a valued patient.

When at 17 years, Matilda went for a check up with a runny nose, which ultimately was diagnosed as nasal cancer, they were quick to refer her to Fitzpatrick Referrals (TV's Supervet) which meant an extra 9 months of a happy cat. Even when her primary care was with Fitzpatrick, they came up with emergency help when her feeding tube cracked on a weekend and an immediate solution was required for no extra charge.

They also sent a lovely card they sent when Matilda finally succumbed to her cancer.

Put simply I couldn't have wished for a better local practice.
