My animals have been patients at St Columb for around 15 years. I have always had excellent service from the reception team, even in emergencies, they have been calm reassuring and understanding.
The Vets and nurses have also been kind, attentive and caring towards our animals, even when a few of the cats have been forth coming with claws. The vets have always been very clear and descriptive about the animals needs and what is available on offer and the prices so that we, as a family can decide the best options for our animals needs and how we can finance the service.
The new building is much bigger, easier to navigate around and easier to keep clean.
over all our experience has been nothing other than exceptional and will continue to have our animals cared for here.

We were on holiday and our dog hurt himself jumping into our car, we wanted to get him checked out and our hotel information gave us the Penmellyn Vets contact number, we telephoned and our dog was seen within an hour of us contacting them, in fact in the 20 mins it took for us to get to the vets they already had our dogs notes from our normal vet and knew all about him. The vet was very friendly to us and our dog and was very thorough in her examination of him. She put our minds at rest that he was ok and gave him an anti inflammatory pain killer and assured us that he would be OK, but if we were unsure about anything they were only a phone call away. We came away feeling well looked after and would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise (which hopefully it won't).

Hannes was efficient and friendly, showing consideration for the horses, for our latest dental check up and treatment last week. He re-sedated one pony- who needed it, and explained the pony's dental problems to me fully.
He subsequently asked specialist advice about this pony's broken tooth and phoned me today personally to explain the treatment options.
A first class service as always.
