“Muzoku Alaskan malamutes”

We have been to Polden hills vets various times and found them to have the most caring staff around, our visits have ranged from the joyous puppy vaccinations and micro chipping to the daunting task of having a dog laid to rest. Regardless of the occasion Polden hills vets are thoroughly professional and provide a top service. We have had to use their out of hours service and not been stung in our wallets as you are with chain practices.

The practice itself is well planned out with waiting and consultation rooms, and also a separate area for mourners if the need arises. Everywhere is spotless and you always get the feeling that the staff really care about you animals. We totally recommend Polden hills and wouldn't take our pedigree Alaskan malamutes anywhere else.

“A truly wonderful veterinary practice!”

I am just so thankful that someone recommended me to visit Polden Hills Veterinary Practice a couple of years ago! No one could offer both me and my dogs more care and professionalism than John, Margaret and their staff! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Their care for my past and present dogs is second to none!

“Lost for words”

My daughters puppy was due to be spayed. We live in glastonbury and have two local vets but when looking at vets further afiel we came across Polden Hill vets, so booked up for Poppy (cocker) to be spayed. My daughter got there at 10.45 showed to the clients room, Poppy went along too and that's where they stayed while Poppy had pre med, when she was drowsy enough Poppy was carried to room which my daughter actually went with her until she was asleep ready for op. Once Poppy had her op they brought her to the clients room where my daughter was waiting. So to get to the point, Poppy in her eyes had my daughter with her throughout and was never left in cage alone(Poppy had sofa in clients room). This I have neve the arid of and it was just fab for my daughter and Poppy. I give Polden Hill 10/10 for everything.

“confidence.”

I have been a client of the above practice for two years with the new vets, Margaret and John
The most important issue is the confidence in the vet, honesty when dealing with a creature that cannot speak, (my pet, not me) and the best possible treatment.
some pet owners are emotional when it comes to our animals but it does not mean a sign of weakness. I am middle aged, new to somerset.
I have always rescued cats, (who have stayed) and now have a 18 month small dog who was not wanted. NEVER in my lifetime have I known vets give donations to other charities (animal) and being on call 24/7 whether this is detrimental to their health and well being. Knowing we have true professionals close by is a true God send.
