We had to take our dog Harry to see the vet. He had a large horrible lump on his leg.
Our appointment was with Ioanna (hope I got the name right!!).
After a couple of visits she had to refer us to a specialist but stayed in touch with us throughout.
She was brilliant and we always felt she loved Harry as much as we do.
Thank you so much Ioanna and the rest of the team.
And I am very pleased to say Harry is back to his old self once again.

We have a 14 year old Border Collie, Millie. She was a rescue dog who we've loved for over 10 years. She always hated going to the vets and would get extremely distressed - she would pant, her hair would fall out, and on occasion she would wet herself.
Sadly Millie has been poorly - primarily due to her age - and I knew she needed to go to a vet but I did not want to make her distressed. A friend of the family recommended we try the Swindon Veterinary Clinic.
The staff are very friendly and understanding. They really care about the animals they care for and it shows. They discuss costs clearly and do not undertake any unnecessary tests/ treatment.
All the other pet owners I have met there say the much the same thing - it's a great vets. I just wish I had known about this place before. Millie is not exactly overjoyed about visiting, but she doesn't get distressed any more.
The treatment they have given has meant my lovely old dog has a new lease of life and for that I cannot thank them enough.

Tanya and her team have always been there for our cats and our dog. During several unfortunate illnesses Tanya has worked tirelessly to keep our furry family together - even when the odds were against us!
Tanya's advice can be trusted implicitly, there can be a suspicion that a vet may be more interested in their business than the animals, with Tanya and her team you can rest assured that her primary concern is the welfare of the animals and the owners. My wife and I would consider Tanya a trusted friend and we would not take our pets to any other practice.
Sadly, despite Tanya's best efforts we were faced with a very difficult decision this week regarding our much loved dog Charlie, her advice and support during this very difficult time was greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a trusted, professional and friendly vets I would strongly recommend that you contact Companion Care in Swindon.

On a visit to pets at home I noticed there was a vets internally so I went and made some enquires. The receptionist was extremely friendly and interested in me. I decided to use them as my cat needed neutering. I booked him in and on the day was greeted by Tanya a most welcomming vet. The consultation was excellent and I immediately felt confident in the services of the practice.
All went well and my cat had a very slight bleed from the skin where it was bruised, quite minor but Tanya and the nurse were very helpful and attentive.
One thing I noticed, most vets will deal with you and then switch off when they deal with their next client. The staff at Companion Care acknowledge everyone as they passed through the waiting room.

We'd used a local Vetinary practice which was most unfriendly and certainly not where we would want to take our sick pet; we were recommended to Companion Care by our friends and we shop in Pets at Home too. Our visit with a very poorly guinea pig meant for him he was treated with care, concern and dignity; for us he needn't suffer unnecessarily. A big thank you from us all even though we did lose our little friend.

We have had to take our 10 week old kitten to the vets a number of times so far and we chose companion care as we needed a same day appointment which they were able to offer. All the staff from those working on the reception through to the head vet have had ample time to sit and talk to us about our kitten. They were very caring and sympathetic after another of our kittens from the same litter became ill and had to be put to sleep. The staff at companion care made the whole experience much easier. Despite the odds against her and with a lot of love from the staff at this practice, our surviving kitten is doing really well. She loves visiting the vets and makes a fuss when we put her back in the car to leave!

We realized late on a Saturday afternoon that our cat had been injured, presumably in a fight and needed some treatment. Our own vets was closed 'til Monday. The Swindon practice were able to see Jim within half an hour. He was thoroughly examined, treated and released that afternoon. The vet (Sarah)was concerned, professional, showed good hygiene practices in the treatment room and generally left us feeling confident that our cat was getting the best treatment available. He is now recovering and we are very relieved and would also recommend this service to any of our friends and neighbours. A+++

We have had bunnies for many years now and know how hard it is to find a really good, rabbit savvy vet (and team). I cannot fault Tanya or her team - they have held our hands whilst we cried, shared our many triumphs and offered endless TLC to our bunnies...and us!
We now have our cat, dogs and all the buns registered and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the practice to anyone. Everyone we have seen or spoken to has been understanding, professional and immensely caring and I always feel a huge sense of relief when we have seen the team knowing that they only want the best for our animals.
Thank you for everything you have done for us all over the last few years.
