I had a very poorly cat called fizz, who needed alot of care after his dental surgery, sadly i had no other option but have him put to sleep due to another underlying illness.
I'm a single mom with an extremely tight budget, so of course finding extra funds for vet bills was extra stress for me on top of my best mate being extremely poorly. The understanding and compassion shown by sonia and her team towards my situation was amazing i was'nt made to feel awkward in anyway, the care and kindness given to fizz was nothing but the best and the aftercare too i did'nt feel that was the end of it and could'nt go back for support or advice once fizz was put to sleep.I will never be able to thank you all enough the kindness show will stay with me always.
Today i got myself a new little cat called herbie and i shall be bringing him to companion care redditch this week to meet sonia and the team. Will be seeing you again soon guy's :)

On Monday my mate Nelli and I spent the day with Sonia and the team at Redditch having our teeth cleaned,we were taken care of really well ( Nelli gizelled all day...'cos she does that!) but no one told her off and they told our Mom we had been very good (I was).We have been back tonight for a check up, we saw one of the nurses and she was so nice to us..we're going back next week for another check, just to make sure we are ok.
We are both getting on a bit now (we are 16)Dad and Mom were worried that there may be problems but Sonia spent time reassuring them that she would take good care of us, she did that ,going the extra mile to make sure we were well and recovered fine.
Me, Nelli and our humans would like to say a big 'thankyou' to Sonia and the team at Redditch for taking such good care of us.
BEWARE......we will be back xx

Took our cat who needed medical attention, as our own surgery was now closed for the weekend. Treatment was given, which was fine, but the practice insisted that the consultation fee would be doubled from £22.50 to £45, as I was not registered with them. I explained that my mother was a registered customer, and had been for many years, spending hundreds, if not thousands of pounds during this time, and could we use her account, but they still insisted that the fee would be double.
The treatment and consultation time was no different, as if I had been a registered customer, and therefore find it difficult to understand their pricing policy.
I wonder, is it the animals welfare at heart here, or a quick way to make a buck or two? If I had not been in a position to afford this unjustified increase, would they have turned us away leaving our cat still in need of medical treatment? I will be contacting head office with my disappointment , and if for any reason you should decide not to publish or post this review, then I may speak to our local newspaper, as customers should have the choice of positive and negative feedback.
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are sorry if our pricing structure was not fully explained to you. We strive to give excellent customer care and service both to our registered clients and to anyone who feel they need us in an emergency. Our surcharge for non registered clients at the weekend or during a bank holiday is £15.00. This is on top of our normal consultation fee of £25.00, and treatment would be charged extra. All veterinary surgeries are required to provide an out of hours service, so, although Mr Ash's regular vet was closed, there should have been an emergency service available to him for his cat.
We did try today to contact the Veterinary Surgery where Mr Ash informed us he was registered for previous history for his cat, but that surgery did not have any registration for them.
If Mr Ash could contact the surgery, Sonia Moretto, the Joint Venture Partner, would be happy to discuss his concerns in detail.
