We took our Bengal Eagle Owl Princess after she broke her leg. From the moment we walked into the surgery we were warmly welcomed and a fuss made of Princess. All the staff at the practice were very profesional, kind and caring not only to Princess but to ourselves.
We had been to a previous vet the day before who incorrectly splinted the leg and charged 3 times the amount just to see her and couldnt provide the specialist care that Blacks did.The cost at Blacks was around half of what the other vets quoted. Blacks also offered other options if surgery was not suitable once an x ray was performed. We were kept up to date on her progress throughout her stay and recieved several phone calls following her return home.
We can not thank them enough for all the care they have given her, and we will certainly be taking her there for any future care that she may require. We will certainly be recommending them to people we know with birds of prey.

I would like to say a very big thankyou from us all for operating on our lovely french bulldog 'Judge'. He was suffering from a suspected Hiatal Hernia and had got a elongated soft palate while already suffering from Megaoesophagus which was why he was a stray, these conditions were not covered on insurance. After a few months of trying to weigh up all options, his condition was getting worse and surgery was his only option to keep him alive. Brian Hogan agreed to perform both procedures at our Dudley hospital. The operations were a sucess and after a month he is eating and breathing alot better and back to his normal happy self and now enjoying running around on his walks with his Pooch companions instead of collapsing.Thank you Brian for going that extra mile for us- from Sue Bryan & Family."

Our dog is a regular to the vets, and I cannot think of a time where I've been unhappy with the service.
We visit monthly for medication, and every few months for blood tests. The nurses are always lovely to our dog and give him treats, and have even made us hot drinks when we had to walk up in the snow for medication.

We have been using Black's for over 13 year's. We recently had to take my dog Blaine to them. It turned out he had cancer. The vet did all the tests whilst we waited. We have had to have in put to sleep as the cancer had spread. We would like to say how kind all the staff were they made it a lot easier for us. Many thanks

Bonnie has had her 2nd injection and microchip she was a good girl and didn't flinch she was more interested in the treat she received while having them. It's always a pleasure visiting the surgery Brian Hogan is a wonderful veteran. Every dog I've owned has always gone to dudley blacks for over 20 years now. The staff are welcomimg and friendly and always make your visits a pleasure. Sadly I lost my other puppy a month ago but everyone was so caring and I received a beautiful card from the surgery when little layla passed. I'm so grateful to have my Bonnie with such wonderful professionals. Keep up the good work love Bonnie and Deborah xx ;-)

George was rushed in to Dudley hospital Thursday afternoon, he was found collapsed and fitting, George was treated by Helen Guy and an amazing team of nurses. Girish Thakral also came in to help even though it was his day off and his birthday. I really don't know what I would have done without them. Thank you all so much xxx

I have been with Blacks under their Quinton Branch, but my 12month old Bull mastiff has been an in patient at the Dudley Hospital, I would recommend both my surgery and the hospital highly. They think of the pets first, and money later. They know what they are talking about, and as large as my puppy is, he loves going to visit the vets. He loves Karen the practice manager and Ted his vet at the Quinton branch. You will not find a nicer bunch of people from any of their practices.
My puppy has had the best of care that money can buy, but not money orientated, but they are very much animal focused at all times, and what money I have had to pay, as he is insured, has been very good value for money. They also promote good health with regular payment scheme for vacinations worming etc.
