“Brilliant service from all staff”
Having had a bad experience with our previous Vet (not The Park Group) we decided to change to the Scraptoft Lane branch of your group 3yrs ago. Having 4 cats & 2 dogs we have made numerous visits & each one has been a good experience.
I had an 18yr old cat that had reached the end of his Life & Wieneke had the dubious honour of putting him to sleep. She gave him a sedative before his euthanasia & she left me with him until I was ready for the final injection. I felt that I could have sat with him til midnight if I needed to without feeling I had to rush things. Wieneke not only soothed my cat, but she reassured me all the way through. She has been nothing less than amazing with all of my animals!
On Monday I had to take my 2 dogs for their MOT's & on this occasion we were dealt with by Mark. He listened to my concerns about my 13 yr old blue merle sheltie & concurred that she was a bit 'creaky'. He prescribed a small bottle of metacam, stating that there was no point in giving a larger bottle until he was sure it wouldn't adversely affect her stomach. He also suggested giving her some cod liver oil to ease her joints. It is now Thursday & it's like I have a different dog. Both my shelties are very timid, and Mark was gentle with them (and me). It was our first experience with Mark & we were impressed by his attitude & soothing manner.
The receptionists, Helen & Lesley are a pleasure to deal with. I have problems in leaving my house & they are always ready to accommodate me in whichever way is easier for me. They are always pleasant & I am able to have a laugh with them which helps my nervousness.
There is never any pressure to spend money for medication or operations unless it is absolutely necessary & they are totally honest with us, explaining several ways of approaching any problems & leaving the decision up to us.
All in all, I feel they always have our interests at heart & we have never left the surgery dissatisfied with the service received.

I HAVE USED THIS PRACTICE FOR MY OWN CATS, AND WHEN THEY NEEDED THE BEST ATTENTION, THE VETS WERE WONDERFUL. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR THEM TO GO,CAROLINE AND VINIKA, WERE KIND AND HELD MY HAND .WOULD NOT HESITATE TO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL ANIMAL LOVERS
