I was unhappy with my previous vets practice so I moved all my 9 cats to The Park.
I have never looked back, they respect my animal and do everything possible to help and are courteous and professional, when we have had to have our pet put to sleep, the animal and ourselves were treated with sympathy and support.
thanks to you all.

I'll never forget the day Reggy came into my life. He was hyper active, a 6 month old puppy who scared the living daylights out of me. My partner brought him home as his owners couldn't cope with his energy and that moment changed my life forever.'
Reggy has been by my side every day for over 10 years. He's accompanied me on holidays, he's greeted me at the door when I return home from work every day, he's licked the tears from my eyes when I've been upset and I've never seen such jealous behaviour when I found myself a new boyfriend!!! Therefore, in return, he deserves the best care available.
Initially, I continued to visit Reggy's former vet and in one devastating visit in which Reggy went in for an eye operation and came out with "a life limiting brain disease", I questioned the veterinarian's ability and lack of motivation to treat my dog. My sister had a friend practicing as a vet in Coventry so went to visit her for some advice and found out that actually Reggy had an underactive thyroid!
Having experienced two different veterinary surgeries, I knew what my expectations were when finding my new local surgery.
The surgery is open early mornings and into the evening which makes it easily accessible for a busy lifestyle. They offer same day appointments and scheduled appointments to suit.
Reggy got attacked once and the practice stayed open for us so they could check him over which was above and beyond their responsibility but very much appreciated! The practice is also linked to the emergency hospital in Glenfield, open 24/7 which gives me peace of mind.
Vets that care
Mark has a lovely persona that not only gives Reggy the best service possible but explains the diagnosis and reassures me that he is doing everything possible to make Reggy better. Weineke is fabulous too. The Park Group seem to treat their staff team well and so they stay long term which is great for us customers.
Friendly staff team
The practice is very friendly. They are all welcoming, approachable and passionate about treating animals. They'll answer all your questions and concerns. Both Helen and Lesley, the receptionists take time to get to know you as valued clients and assist you with all your insurance claims.
It has car parking and garden for walks at the back of the practice. Lesley also put me in touch with an animal taxi service when it was required.
Value for Money
I would say that this vet is very much value for money. They recognise that animal care costs money and bear that in mind when recommending medicine or medical procedures. There have been times when my mum has picked up some medication for Reggy and I have paid over the phone after the event. No fuss made whatsoever. There are payment plans available and my suggestion is that communication is key, just talk to them, they're want to help. Park Vet Group will do its upmost to ensure that your animal gets exceptional care and payment for services can be agreed as required.
In conclusion, I will never go to another veterinary practice again. They are everything I could ever want from a practice and so much more.

Having had a bad experience with our previous Vet (not The Park Group) we decided to change to the Scraptoft Lane branch of your group 3yrs ago. Having 4 cats & 2 dogs we have made numerous visits & each one has been a good experience.
I had an 18yr old cat that had reached the end of his Life & Wieneke had the dubious honour of putting him to sleep. She gave him a sedative before his euthanasia & she left me with him until I was ready for the final injection. I felt that I could have sat with him til midnight if I needed to without feeling I had to rush things. Wieneke not only soothed my cat, but she reassured me all the way through. She has been nothing less than amazing with all of my animals!
On Monday I had to take my 2 dogs for their MOT's & on this occasion we were dealt with by Mark. He listened to my concerns about my 13 yr old blue merle sheltie & concurred that she was a bit 'creaky'. He prescribed a small bottle of metacam, stating that there was no point in giving a larger bottle until he was sure it wouldn't adversely affect her stomach. He also suggested giving her some cod liver oil to ease her joints. It is now Thursday & it's like I have a different dog. Both my shelties are very timid, and Mark was gentle with them (and me). It was our first experience with Mark & we were impressed by his attitude & soothing manner.
The receptionists, Helen & Lesley are a pleasure to deal with. I have problems in leaving my house & they are always ready to accommodate me in whichever way is easier for me. They are always pleasant & I am able to have a laugh with them which helps my nervousness.
There is never any pressure to spend money for medication or operations unless it is absolutely necessary & they are totally honest with us, explaining several ways of approaching any problems & leaving the decision up to us.
All in all, I feel they always have our interests at heart & we have never left the surgery dissatisfied with the service received.
