“Monte & Darcy”

I am always happy with the service I get at Goddard, Dagenham, the treatment my cats have had has consistently been to a high standard. Peter has been our vet for the whole time we have had our cats; Monte and Darcy (3 years), he is always interested to know how they are getting on. It's hard taking your pets to the vet sometimes as it can be stressful for them (and us), but once we are there the staff make you feel relaxed and welcome. Peter is very genuine and has always been helpful with any concerns I have had. Any treatment Monte and Darcy have had has been successful too. Darcy went today as I thought he had an eye infection, as always we had friendly, genuine service from booking the appointment until we left. I'd definitely recommend this vet:)

“pet satisfaction”

I was very impressed when taking my cat for nail clipping, she was made very relaxed and happy because the visit wasn't rushed. Very friendly receptionist and vet. All told a very pleasant experience.
Highly recommended

The Vet Peter and all the staff at the Dagenham Practic really understand how important our pets are and show it very much in each phone call made to the vet or visit. It does not matter how minor the enquiry is they will spend time with you to help in any way. So many times over the last 20 years I have phoned the surgery or visited and each time I have been fully satisfied with the care that has been given. They are now looking after my two cocker spaniels Alvin and Spanner, and not forgetting Toby my Westie who they cared for right from a puppy into his old age of 15 years. Thank you all at the surgery I would not go anywhere else xxx

“Fabulous staff”

I have written a review before but feel I have to follow that up. This occasion I had to take my cat Fyodor to see Peter. Peter, as always, was calm and kindly reassuring throughout all the tests Fyo had to have and was always ready and willing to answer my endless questions. Fyo had lymphoma and, despite all the best efforts of everyone involved in his treatment, he, sadly, failed to respond to that treatment. We are very sad to have lost him and miss him so much but we are so grateful to Peter and his fabulous staff for all the care and attention and effort put into Fyo's care and for the kindness and reassurance and empathy shown to us. Special thanks to Peter himself for remaining patient and positive through the consultations and tearful phone conversations with me..bless you, and also to Diane for her advice and support and her thoughtful text message on Fyo's last day. Thank you so much.

“Overall experience ”

From the experience that I received at a very sad time, all concerned went way beyond my expectations from
My previous experience at a different vet. We were fitted in with an appointment at very short notice so my dog did not have to suffer for longer. The vet and staff treated my dog and myself with the upmost dignity and respect

I would recommend this practice to anyone, for the care and respect that I received, And still receive today with my current dogs

The vet- Peter, and staff at the Dagenham branch really understand how important your pets are to you and how they are members of your family. Nothing is ever to much trouble, and i'm so reassured whenever I phone up, even for the most minor enquiry. They were even available to talk when I had to have one of my dogs put to sleep which certainly helped with the grieving process. I have been going to the Dagenham branch for over 20 years and I would recommend them to anyone.

“Excellent ”

I had to take my elderly dog Molly to visit the vets for the first time in years and, although I live in Romford, I used to take my cats to see Patrick at Plaistow branch because I liked, trusted and respected him very much. I didn't think it was going to be easy to find someone to equal his 'bedside' manner and thought long and hard about who to take Molly to. It had to be somewhere fairly close to me as Molly is a very poor traveller and gets very anxious on a car journey. In the end we decided on the Dagenham branch as the journey was a relatively easy one and I had been told that the Vet was very good. I am so glad we made that decision because Peter (the Vet) was very easy to talk to and so reassuring and understanding. He gave Molly a thorough check up and was very kind to her and methodical and unhurried about the whole procedure. This relaxed me and, in turn, gradually relaxed Molly. As it turned out, my worse fears were unfounded and Peter was able to explain fully what he suspected was wrong and start Molly on a course of treatment to alleviate her pain and discomfort with a follow up appointment for a few days later to check on her progress. Of course, there may be the need for more tests in the future and possibly adjustments to her medication but I have absolutely no doubt that she will be well cared for by Peter and his fabulous staff and I have great confidence in them. There is an air of calm and comfort in this branch, and I can only think of one other branch where I have felt that...the aforementioned Plaistow. Dear Patrick Eaves left a gap I don't think anyone can ever fill but Peter comes very close in my opinion. Thank you to everyone at Dagenham from me and from Molly.

I have been visiting Goddards at Dagenham for over 20 years now, and I can honestly say they are the best. The care and compassion they give is amazing, even down to sending a sympathy card when my dog passed away. The staff are amazing, sometimes I ring with the silliest questions, but they do not judge, they always have an answer. I hope to use them for the next 20 years too !
