“Customer Service is the best”
I have been taking my pets to this surgery for the last 30 years and the Vet that is at this practice at the moment is the best one yet. The Vet does not just expect the nursing staff to deal with explaining the ProActive Pets scheme, she went through it with us as well as the nursing staff, so that we understood how it worked. She also took a great deal of time explaining and advising how to feed and exercise one of my cats who is over weight. When we took our other cat to the surgery when it had been bitten resently the Vet did not try and give us the most expensive medication which was an injection she advised that there is a better and cheaper route which is a course of antibiotic capsules. The Nurses at this surgery have always given advise, and have been understanding and caring over the years.

“Fantastic practice!”
Everytime we come in everyone is very helpful and lovely to all of our animals. They have always been sympathetic towards us, and always give very good advice. Always at the end of the phone when we call to make inquiries. Fantastic staff!!

“best practice in goodmayes”
I have to rate this practice to be first class. Julia and her team of wonderful caring nurses all work so well together, they are so professional and full of compassion. Our 6kg cat BC actually enjoys his visits,having recently had his teeth cleaned, no smelly breath now!BC and myself would highly recommend this practice, you are definitely in safe paws!

“Excellent Care”

I bring my cat Abbey to this practise, so when my cousions friend of 84 years young found a stray cat with a bad foot, I offered to help her get him to a vet.
Your vet Julia and staff not only made him feel better, but showed him love and care for possible the first time in his life.
They didn't just help to turn Charlie's life around but also showed great emphathy and understanding to a very worried elderly lady.

“Jack's life savers”
We have been going to the Goodmayes practice for well over twenty years
and have seen most of the vet's who have practiced there. But now we have a new vet "Julia" who's as bubbly and frendly as Jan the head nurse
and her fellow nurses. Our cat Jack's now on his ninth life with a dodgy ticker, but thank's to Julia's expertise he's doing fine. We moved away from Ilford in 2008 and now travel in from Wickford and will continue to do so. A trusted and very freindly practice.

My cat recently had to have dental treatment at Goddards in Goodmayes. I received excellent advice and service from the Vet and her nurses in Goodmayes. Everyone who works there are always very friendly,helpful and caring. The aftercare and follow up have been excellent. Thank you to them all.

“At last we have a permanent vet - and she is fab!”
Last night we took our very large dog to Goodmayes surgery. He had a very bad ear infection. The new vet was very patient with him, he is nervous, gave his ear a wash, prescribed ear drops. Checked I his teeth and drained his annul glands. She dealt with all this wonderfully as he hid, pulled and whined. So glad we now have a permanent vet as hopefully he will get to know her and his visits will be less traumatic for him and us. Have been going to this vets for 30 years and would never go anywhere else.

“Lovely vet”
I brought my daughters cat Toby-twirl to have his claws trimmed. I have inherited him after my daughter moved.
The vet I saw was so lovely with Toby and really made him relax and
took time to quiten him down. ( he is usually very fiesty)
I was so happy with the care given by her and the nurse and Toby seemed quite calm.

“Lovely Practice”
I brought my cat Big Daddy to the practice for a dental problem & he was treated wonderfully. The nurses were very friendly & helpful & made a fuss of him.
The vet herself was really great & understanding & I felt confident leaving Big Daddy in her care. I will definitely use her practice again & recommend her to others.

“Just brilliant!”
I have been going to Goddards Goodmayes for about 5 years now. I have a beautiful, over-excited and very nervous German Shepherd who crashes around, weighing in at about 50 kilos. Unless a vet can diagnose a condition at 50 paces, a trip to the vet has always been stressful for all concerned and on occasion, needed a sedative (for me as well as the dog!). Julia and the nurses were fantastic - calm, friendly, professional. I was very impressed with the careful instruction and no-rush approach adopted by the staff and the visit turned out to be a complete pleasure. Love this surgery - wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Thank you to all the staff for your wonderful care.

I am a regular cluient of the Goodmayes practice as i have 4 cats.
My neighbour James had an old cat called Jamie who started having fits.
We took her to Goddards at Goodmayes and sadly had to have her put to sleep.
Julia was absolutely amazing. She explained everything step by step and helped us understand that we were doing the right thing. Jan was also so lovely and comforted us as we had to let Jamie go.
There was no rushing and everything was handled so lovingly.
I cannot express the kindness and empathy we were shown by Julia and Jan.
I highly recommend Goodmayes practice and i refuse to take any of my furry babies elsewhere.

“Trusted Vet”
I have been coming to this vet since 1997 and I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. As with a doctor, you build up trust with the people who look after your furry friends. Being a household that has quite a menagerie, it has been great over the years to get advise and good care for all our animals. I would whole heartedly recommend Goodmayes vets for all your animals needs.

“Initial consultation”
This was my first visit to the Goddard Veterinary group and was treated so well, the receptionist was very firendly and the vet was extremely good with my cat. I have been to a few vets before and my cat has not got on with any of them! here was quiet and allowed the vet (Julia) to do her job, was amazing to watch and felt such at peace seeing my cat feel comfortable :)
Highly recommend this surgery to anyone looking to take their pet to surgery, thanks Julia for your wonderful care xx

“Best vet ever Wonderful Nurses”
I have been using Goddards for the past 20 years.The staff here now are the best ever.Julia the vet is a one off,clever,compasionate,ultra friendly.My dog does't take to many people but he loves her.The Staff are great and very friendly making every body feel they are special.Jan the senior nurse,was an angel to me the night I had to have my beloved Labrador Jake put to sleep.Well done everyone keep it up

My wife brought in Tia today for her six-monthly Blood test,which is something we dread because of Tia's behavioral issues. And the obvious distress it generates in her.
However, due to the superb administrations of you all, this was not the case this time. “Baby Peter”
Dear Julia
I would like to say a very big thank you about the way you and the girls treated Baby Peter when he came to have his dental treatment. As you know Peter is a special needs cat who always requires that little bit more special attention. He got the best treatment ever to be expected thanks to you and the girls.
I have been coming to Goddards for over 12 years now with my furry babies (some sadly deceased) and the service has always been wonderful.

“Very friendly and helpful ”
The reception staff were so friendly and were full of engery, which was unexpected.
The Vet himself (Irish man) was very helpful and full of advice as he could also see I was a first time owner.
The place itself is bright, clean and very clam which is what you don't expect from a vets army surgery.
Definatly a 5star
