I moved around with my cats a lot and subsequently dealt with many vets. My beautiful girls passed away a couple of years ago and on rehoming Patsy and Eddie they had vaccinations to finish off at Goodmayes Goddard. Bear in mind at this point I am not paying a penny as the vaccinations were met by the rescue centre, Julia and the lovelies here could not have been more helpful, interested and genuinely caring about my new family members, so much so that I instantly decided to change vets. This is not my closest vet by a long shot but the care and compassion shown by this team where your pet is genuinely cared about and the ethos is about educating owners rather than the conveyor belt you get elsewhere. I have recommended and will continue to recommend, in the meantime Patsy and Eddie are in very safe hands!

I would like to tell everyone how wonderful the vets and staff are in Goddards, Goodmayes.
My cat Francesca has got an ongoing thyroid problem and the way that Jose and Louise have treated her is amazing. She is a very nervous cat but Jose and Louise always take such good care of her that I do not have to worry when i have to leave her there.
Jan and Julia are also wonderful people. They dealt with my special needs cat Peter when he had dental treatment.
I would NEVER take any of my furry children anywhere else nor would I trust them with anyone else apart from Goggards at Goodmayes.
Thankyou so much Jan, Jose, Louise and Juliet xxxx

Thank you today for looking after Flynn so well today! On his arrival today , he was petrified and it was horrible to see. I felt total reassurance after handing him over, after seeing the way he was dealt with! It so apparent that all the staff at Goodmayes have a passion and dedication to giving each and every pet the best care that they can, which as a pet owner is all you can ask for!!!

We have always had our various Dogs treated here & over the years we have had an excellent level of care for each one, our late Westie Samson had an eye removed in Jan 2008 & lived until June 2013, he was very well dealt with & handled with sensitivity when having to be put down; our first Dog Holly a Border Collie was treated for Pancreatitis in the 1990's & her life was saved, she had another3 1/2 happy years;our current Lurcher Toby had anxiety issues when we got him in Feb 2012 but has now overcome this via medication, he now has mild Asthma but is well looked after by Julia & the team when he goes there & has completely lost his nervousness & is completely at ease when there.

Took our dog here on an emergency when our usual vet was taken ill and it felt like we had been customers for years. The receptionist knew who we were and our dog's name when we walked in the door. The reception area is vey large and relaxed. The vet had an excellent 'bedside' manner with the dog and explained all our options to us very clearly in easy to understand language. We would thoroughly recommend this practice as would our dog who has got over his emergency and doing very well.

The nurses and the vets in this practice are lovely and have gone to great lengths to ensure that my cat was receiving the best possible attention. This was not an easy case, as this is a semi-feral cat who had never been to the vet. In previous opportunities, they have arranged home visits successfully, but on this time he needed to be there for a more comprehensive assessment. It turns out to be that my cat has FIV. I was informed of this over the phone and the approach was very gentle and understanding. On subsequent chats with the nurses and vets I was explained of the situation and provided with additional information, which is something I appreciated a lot. Thank you.

I've had cats for well over 25 years and many vets during that time, and dont get me wrong all the vets have been fantastic but for some reason the team at the Green Lane location have that extra zest
I found them to be extremely accommodating, super friendly and a very convenient location to visit
I HIGHLY recommend you make this your go to place for your pets!

I am a client at Goodmayes practice my cat - Misty was in so much pain through a cat bite on her tail that developed an abscess - Julia Roberts was extremely professional and her care and attention to Misty during her treatment was exceptional. She made Misty and myself at ease. Plus she has such a great personality it shines through.
I would definately recommend anyone to go to this practice.
