“Great practice, highly recommended!”

We have been visiting Goddards Hackney since 2006 and have nothing but praise for Brian and his team. They are all dedicated animal lovers and always strive to give each animal (and owner) the very best treatment. There is sometimes a bit of a wait but this is because you are never rushed, even if there is a queue of people waiting behind you.

Unfortunately our two elderly moggies have both now passed away but as and when we are seduced by another animal we'll be sure to take them to meet Brian and co!

“Superb care.”

I've been going to the Hackney surgery for over a decade and have always found the staff and level of care to be nothing short of excellent.

Even though I now live out of the area we still take our cat to Brian because he inspires nothing but confidence in both feline and non feline clients alike.

“Highly recommend, wouldn't take my girl any where else”

it's quite simple... these people are ACE.
Really helpful and committed to your pets. So friendly and totally willing to help you with anything and everything you need to have a happy healthy pet.

I've been with them for over 4 years and can not recommend Goddards Hackney enough. Right from the start they have been just great. I found my dog abandoned and in a bit of a state. Goddards really helped me with everything I needed to know to ensure not only that I was able to keep my dog but to ensure that she is well looked after and happy....and a happy dog means a happy owner.

I am so grateful for everything Goddards has done for me. Thank you so much and woof woof.

“Brilliant service, over and above the call of duty”

I can't recommend Brian and the team at Goddard Veterinary Group, Hackney, highly enough. They have consistently gone over and above the call of duty to help my cat who had been very ill for a prolonged period of time. Such is their service, that if I was to move out of the area I would be reluctant to go elsewhere.

Appointments are easily made, and the surgery staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

They clearly love animals and understand the need to keep pet owners informed of what is happening to allay anxieties. I've always been kept up to date with test results, and advice on how to care for my pets.

“Fantastic Vet and great care for our pooch!”

I would recommend this Vet to anyone! I used a different Vet nearby and the practise, Vet, and nurses t Goddard Hackney are far better than I have seen in London in my 8 years here. Brian has an excellent demeanour with our French Bulldog, Papi and the surgery on his eyes was a huge success. I can't say enough good things about the Goddard group in Hackney.

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

Our dogs have been under the care of Brian and his team for over 7 years. An extremely high level of service is provided, even on the busiest of days. During the terrible time at the end of our dog's life Brian and his team made a difficult experience much more bearable for us and we continue to be very grateful for that. The team are very friendly and we always feel confident that any issues with our present dog, Marlow, will be dealt with professionally and with the utmost of care. We highly recommend Goddards in Well Street.

“Warm and caring approach”

I highly recommend the Well St. practice. I've been going there for over ten years. Both Brian the vet and all the reception staff are incredibly caring and warm, as well as providing a great quality veterinary service.

I recently had to have one of my cats put to sleep: I couldn't have wished for a more supportive and understanding group of people to help me through that difficult decision and the loss of my much-loved cat companion.

Heartfelt thanks to all at Well. St.

“Awesome Team”

I have been using Goddards in Hackney for over 20 years and they have been outstanding in all consultations with a variety of different pets over the years.
With our canine member of the family who has been with us for 8 years, our respect and relationship with the team has grown ever stronger as our dog has had needed treatments for a range of illnesses such as accidental poisoning to cancer. At all times the team has been considerate, professional whilst compassionate, friendly and supportive.
Treatment options are always explained and well discussed with the client and the team make a real effort to make sure you are informed of test results asap, even calling out of hours to reassure and check my dog's progress. All of the team are very conscientious and it is easy to see that they are all passionate about the animals in their care. My dog is treated with respect and care & wether she is attending for routine check ups, surgery or emergency treatment, I have 100% confidence and trust in the team - I can't thank them enough for the support and care that they have provided to me and my dog over the last 8 years especially - awesome team!!

“Personal touch”

My dog had 3 operations in 1 last year. She had a standard spay operation but Brian also fixed her 2 inguinal hernias at the same time. I wasn't aware of just how serious and tricky the process was until afterwards and I'm glad Brian managed to convey total calmness throughout! Twiggy and I both received huge amounts of support during and after the operation. Great staff, great communication and a real personal touch - can't recommend you all highly enough! Thank you :)

“Highly recommend this lovely practice and talented staff”

My two cats are registered with the Hackney practice and we have had various health concerns that Brian and his staff have helped us with. Brian is an absolute star! Not only is he an extremely talented veterinarian but he goes beyond the call of duty. Our cat Elvis had to have a lump removed from his face and Brian's work was beautiful, this was a big lump and Elvis came home looking like he'd been to a plastic surgeon! You cannot see that it was ever there and Elvis' pathology results confirm Brian was able to remove every last bit of it. Aside from his wizardry with a scalpel Brian also helped us save a sick litter of kittens, especially one who I was sure wasn't going to make it. He has to contend with Elvis's transformation into a demonic beast from the underworld every time we visit which he takes in his stride no problem and always puts me at ease. All the staff are really kind and thoughtful, they phone up with results as soon as they can (I've even had calls out of office hours) understanding that we besotted owners fret over our little friends and are just really lovely. Everyone at Hackney clearly has a deep love of animals and I always feel 100% confident leaving my cats in their care, we are so lucky to have such a great practice in our area!

“caring professional and friendly practice”

Took my kitten in for a operation recently, which needed to be done quickly. The friendly staff arranged an appointment in only two days time (because of the urgency). The staff were extremely friendly and clearly cared a great deal for animals in general, and the kitten in particular.

Everything was explained in detail, and carried out without problems. The kitten was very relaxed and happy both during and after the visit. I'd recommend the Hackney practice without hesitation.

“Very good vets”

Although a very busy practice, whenever i take Herbie in to visit he is treated like a superstar the nurses give him hugs and make me very proud of my beautiful cat.
Herbie is 17 now and suffers from Thyroid issues. I am sure that its due to Brian (the vet) that he is still alive and well.

I trust Brian for his honest opinion and obvious care for Herbie`s needs. So much so that my other cat Bear will be attending his first dental operation in March at the Hackney branch and i know that he will be in good hands.

“A Veterinary surgery you can really trust.”

The Hackney surgery is great - we've been clients for nearly twenty-years. Brian and his staff have helped us through the life and loss of two beloved cats with amazing kindness and compassion.
We have a cat, Poppy, and we would never think of taking here anywhere else.
Everyone who works in the surgery are friendy, polite and all have the patience of Jobe! They go out of their way to help you - often above and beyond the call of duty. But most importantly, we trust them unquestioningly with our beautiful cat. There can be no higher praise.
THANK YOU!!!!

“There is no-one else I would take my cat to”

Brian is the most incredibly talented and dedicated vet, and quite simply I would not have my cat with me now if it weren't for him. Not only has he saved her, twice (for which I can never thank him enough), he has also ensured that she is happy and enjoying a great quality of life. The whole team are absolutely wonderful, and so kind to the animals and also their often nervous or upset humans.
Brian was recommended to me by a friend who has had cats all her life, and I have also encouraged my friends with cats to go to him. He is not the most local vet for any of us, but we would never trust our beloved animals to anyone else.

“Very busy but very good Vet”

I actually only started going to Goddard Hackney recently as our previout Vet practice could not help me with organising my cats move abroad. I called several practice and Brian (the Doctor) was the most helpful and knowledgeable over the phone. Since then the practice has been very supportive in every aspects. The practice is always busy and everyone I spoke to (Brian and the nurses) were very knowledgeable and helpful. Organising my pets move are actually the most stressful part of my move, however, they definitely are helping me to keep my stress level down!

For one reason or another I have been rescuing and rehoming cats in need over the last 3 years.
I can thank Brian and his incredibly loyal hard working team for all their support in my quest to restore and re-home a portion of hackneys waif and stray moggie's.
Brian is a very talented vet who absolutely goes the hole hog to ensure the best care for his furry customers.
Last week Brain performed major surgery on my 3 legged cat with chronic colon compression. Its a high risk procedure and the outcome was uncertain but my cat has fully recovered and is visibly experiencing a whole new lease of life!!! I have no hesitation in recommending this incredible little practice.
Thank you guys xx

“Absolutely Wonderful Vet! ”

Brian and his team offer the most fantastic veterinary service I have ever come across. I cannot fault Brian's skill or knowledge (or kindness) in any way. We have had a succession of rabbits, one of whom lived to 12 years old (a great age for a rabbit). I know that Brian's excellent care and advice contributed greatly to his longevity. I have been to other vets but none are like Brian and his team who are simply wonderful in every respect. I cannot rate them too highly - 5 stars are not nearly enough. Thank you.

“My Hero”

Brian is one in a million who goes the extra mile for his patients. My old dog Ollie has cancer and Brian took the time to research the best treatment and has enabled him to have a much longer life than was on the cards. Brians commitment extends to his working all hours and always following up major treatment with a phone call. He listens and discusses treatment options and is surrounded by equally friendly helpful staff.
He is also responsible in his way of ensuring that you have a realistic understanding of your pets condition and gives you confidence that he will always help you to make the right decision.

His patient care is much better than most doctors and I totally trust him for the best support for me and my lovely dog.

“Wonderful Team, would highly recommend”

I have been attending Goddard Vet Group in Hackney for 25 years, and would not want to go anywhere else. The whole team are professional, kind, friendly and very knowledgeable about all sorts of animal care. Brian Barnett is an animal loving, patient, and importantly, calm, vet who has a huge range of experience dealing with small animal care. His approach is calming for both pet and owner, which can make what could be a stressful visit with a sick pet easier. Brian has cared for my pets for many years now and has always gone the extra mile to look after us all, explaining and discussing everything with us as we go along. I trust Brian and take his advice, but also know that I can question his opinion and discuss any matter further should I need to. I would highly recommend Brian as a vet to anyone
