Visited today to request help on finding catteries, cat sitters for a sudden plan to go away in mid-summer. Lauren was incredibly helpful, and pulled out her file of appropriate places, peoples, even though I hadn't been a visitor to the clinic with my two cats for more than 8 years. (Having retired, on a small state pension, we later became eligible for free vet care at our local RSPCA.)
In addition, she gave extremely helpful and knowledgeable advice about the vaccinations catteries might require, and about the food one of my cats might need, who has suffered from FLUTD in the past.
All this while there was a big queue, which she also handled so efficiently and caringly! THANKS, Lauren!

I recently got a chihuahua and is my first puppy! I went to the Goddard vet to get her first set of vaccinations done. The staff were incredibly informative and helpful. They gave me a whole load of information and help on my first pup. Everyone is very helpful, and my pup did not feel uncomfortable whilst being treated.

Really can't fault this vet. I have found them to be highly professional, whilst also very generous with time and with advice. They genuinely seem to care about your pet.
This is the only vet I have ever used, so I don't really know how their prices compare, but for the amount I've paid I have always felt I have received excellent value for money.
I would absolutely recommend this vet to anyone.

Yesterday my beloved cat was put to sleep at Goddards, Highbury. I am full of grief but I know I did the best thing for her and Louise and the nurses there were so kind and supportive and I can't thank them enough for helping me go through one of the saddest experiences of my life. Louise talked through with me all the options and I know I made the kindest decision in the end.
Oddly enough, my cat was a little monster, feared by many, including me at times, but whenever she was at the practice for vaccinations, teeth cleaning etc., she was good as gold and a model patient! So I was confident that at the end, she was not stressed or terrified.
I've used that practice for twenty years now, and all there have always been wonderful. That was my last cat, no more, as I'm elderly - but I'll still keep in touch with Louise and the nurses.

Over all, there is a high standard of medical care at the practise. However, if you're taking your pet for anything other than the standard vaccinations and don't have pet insurance, be prepared to pay a large amount. I found prescription foods and worming/flee medication at a substantially lower price online. One thing that would potentially put my off this practise for a nervous animal is the size of the waiting room. Obviously this cannot be helped, but the waiting room is very very small. 2 dogs and 2 cats waiting is plenty. My cat was very stressed in this small space in such close proximity to dogs and I found this rather uncomfortable with such a sick cat. Can't fault the medical treatment.
Thank you very much for your comments. Our reception area is compact so we conduct an appointment system and run to time in order to minimise the number of clients waiting at any one time. Our vet Louise Riches is very experienced and thank you for your reassurance about the standard of care, something we always work hard at maintaining.

Louise and Lauren and the team at Highbury have given wonderful care for my cats over the years. They have always been wise, gentle and caring right up to the end and I recommend them unreservedly.
For each of my cats when it did come to the end, Louise and Lauren were very sensitive and supportive towards us for which I and my family cannot thank them enough.

The ever best vet Mylo ever had! I dont know how to thank Louise and Goddards! When ever i need their help advice they did the best! When i feel over stressed and need a professional they were there always.every question had answers.polite and preffesional.they can understand how you and your dog feel.they find extra time for us even they were too busy just because i was so worried about Mylo.dont know how to thank really.i moved my home but i can not change my vet just because not to leave Louise..i come long way just to see this lovely vet! Thanks to all of your beautiful team!

The fantastic Lauren at the Goddard practice in Cannonbury did an excellent forensic analysis of our cat's scratching our wallpaper, complete with a professional report and a taylor made diagnosis of what to do to remedy the situation after a home visit. We put into practice all her tips and miraculously the problem has been completely solved! She is a miracle worker cat whisperer ! thank you so much lauren!

I have recently transferred to Goddard's from a larger practice and I did this not because my previous practice was bad, but because seeing the nature of how the team at Highbury operated made me see I had to change to them.
Being a smaller practise they really come to know your pet(s) and are able to get the root of any issues they may have. Their veterinary knowledge is exceptional. They are wonderfully welcoming and one of the excellent things about the way they have the clinic set up is having veterinary nurses at the front desk, so you don't need to make an appointment to speak to a vet over each issue you have about your animals needs. I have learned so much and I am very grateful to all the additional help and advice they have given me. And I most definitely have much happier cats because of what I have learned.
I really couldn't recommend this practice more highly.
