Just over 18 months ago, we adopted two older rescue cats, Charlie and Ruby, who had been through a really tough time healthwise. We only had the sketchiest of health records - mainly relating to after they were found.
The vets and staff at Goddard's have been wonderful. We were offered an initial free assessment visit to ensure we had some initial medical records for them and we've taken our furballs back every six months since.
Their kind and gentle manners have ensured that the visits are stress-free and Charlie & Ruby have really taken to them. I can't speak highly enough of them.

The vet did not do a thorough puppy check- he checked weight, Herat and felt glands- with no verbal feedback. II had to tell him to check ears for mite sand turns out pup had them. 10 min check, £70 cost for ear mite solution and 2 second anal clearance. Receptionist unfriendly :(
I was sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the consultation that had been booked as one of our free puppy checks. I have read the vet's notes and can confirm that they are thorough and comprehensive, suggesting to me that he did everything that could be expected - and at no charge for the consultation. The puppy was presented scratching at his ears and 'scooting' his bottom along the floor. The diagnoses were simple enough and ear drops were dispensed (along with a worming tablet) and the puppy's anal glands were emptied. I do hope that you will return and see our permanent nursing staff who were not present on the day.

Our rescue cat Roxy is not an easy patient, so much so that the Goddard computer flags up red stars against her name to warn that she should be handled with extreme caution. Her annual visit for a health check and booster injection has the potential to cause as much trauma to her owners as to Roxy. This year we booked an early appointment and when we arrived with an outraged cat muttering angrily under her breath we were taken straight through to the examination room where David had the injection prepared to give her before she knew what was happening. He and Katy were able to examine her, weigh her and have her back in her basket so calmly, quickly and efficiently that she barely had time to protest before she was on her way home again. What could have been a horribly stressful experience turned out to be completely trouble free for all concerned. Thank you!

My springer spaniel has been in the care of Goddard's Kingston for all 11 years I have had him. He developed epilepsy at 8 y.o., so requiring daily medication. Recently Splodge developed pancreatitis which was swiftly diagnosed by David and confirmed by colleagues at Stone Lion. Following this diagnosis a change was made to his epilepsy medication. Late on a Friday evening the wonderful Katy was able to order more of the new medicine for collection on Monday - swift response to my email, swift action and great support and care. Typical of Katy and the practice in general.

Having a great vet is so important- at Goddards, they make such an effort to put the animals (and their owners!) at ease, and they're so friendly and helpful. The new vet David is great and Pepper loved him, and the nurses are all fantastic - happy to recommend them.
