“Caring Service”

I have been a client since it opened. The high standard of service and care has remained constant over the years. All my dogs have experience of the care given, from routine checks, emergency care, end of life care, and death for an old friend. Each of my dogs received tender, thoughtful treatment, never hurried. The Nurses have provided good support and advice. The vets take time to explain what's happening and why. It's a lovely practice and I'd recommend it to others.

“Fantastic Practice!”

We've had to visit the practice quite a few times with our cat. Each time we've been able to make appointments relatively quickly (including emergency appointments immediately), and we know that our cat is left in very good hands when he has had to be admitted. Everyone is incredibly friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice.

“Compassionate & Professional”

Recently I had to make the very upsetting decision to have my blind 15 year old Cairn Terrier "Punch" put to sleep. Your receptionist, nurse and especially vet (sorry can't remember her name, mind elsewhere) were so compassionate & understanding, it made a difficult decision just a little easier. The handwritten condolence card I received a few days later was a lovely thought. Nice to know that it is not all about money. Thank you all very much and will see you in April when my Irish Setter "Dillon" has his annual injections. Margaret Twiggs

“Excedllent practice”

I and my animals have been clients of this practice since it opened. They have always gone out of their way to help me both in routine visits and in emergencies. Jeremy Giles and the nurses have ben particularly helpful and considerate.

“Wonderful ”

I thought I had found the puppy of my dreams but he had a serious condition. I came to speak to the vet so I could make an informed decision. Everyone at the practice were lovely and very professional.
I had to make a very difficult decision and was extremely upset but they were all very sympathetic to my situation.
I look forward to meeting you all again in the New Year with my new puppy when I find him.

“The most amazing vet practice, highly recommended”

These are the most amazing group of people you will ever come across, helpful, polite, friendly...the list is endless. I contacted them with a huge predicament concerning my boxer dog, when my current vet became..."difficult" to say the least.
Nothing was too much, they sorted it all, took over mid treatment, tended to Charlie immediately, and within a week my boy is at home recovering with us now.
They explained everything to me so at no point did I leave confused about things, I knew what to do every step of the way.
Your not made to feel like a pest because you want to know why, when and how, you don't feel rushed, the vets and nurses actually care.
I love that when you walk in they know who you are, talk to your dog/pet, Charlie for the first time ever doesn't mind going to the vets. Had to drag him through the door at the last place.
I have now registered my puppy Oscar with them, there puppy package is excellent, all you need and you get to go to puppy party's on Thursday (training & socialising). Can't wait...apparently very entertaining!
If your looking for a vets don't look any further, even if you have to travel to get to them I would recommend doing so.

Although I only joined your practice a week ago, the facilities & services you offer are outstanding. Teddy & I thoroughly enjoyed the puppy socialisation class today with Sarahc. Thank you so much.
Also what an excellent idea to to offer a class for owners to attend concerning fireworks. I look forward to it.

“A PRACTICE WORTH JOINING ”

FRIENDLY DEDICATED STAFF WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. TERMINOLOGY USED WHEN DISCUSSING PET PROBLEMS AND TREATMENT IS ALWAYS DELIVERED IN A WAY THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND. TIME NEVER SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WHILST IN THE SURGERY. NO PRESSURE TO BE HURRIED OUT AFTER AN 'ALLOTTED' TIME

“Excellent all round care”

I have been using Heathside Vetinary Surgery for almost as many years as they have been open. The care is always excellent. Because of their expertise, my old dog's life was extended with good quality and when the time finally came to let him go they helped me, and him, in the most caring and supportive way. This year my young dog has had the most amazing and complex orthopaedic surgery. The care has always been faultless. The facilities are excellent and the services provided are extensive. All the staff are really good at their jobs and as a client you feel they really care, not only for the animals but also for the owners.

“Friendly and Thorough Vet”

I was very impressed with this practice and my vet Jeremy Giles.

My previous vet practice, provided treatment for my dogs ear problem, but I was having to return for the same reason every 2 months or so. They always provided me with the same treatment.

I decided to change vets to Heathside. Jeremy listened to me and spent alot of time making friends with my dog, he explained very clearly to me the problem of why this problem was recurring. After one course of treatment and after following his advice, my dog Charlie has since been clear of his ear problems. (almost 6 months).

I Should have gone to Heathside ages ago, as I would have saved myself so much money. The Staff were also extremelly friendly.

Thank you.
