“Isabel is an outstanding vet, lovely staff throughout, care dearly about animals”

I moved to Manor Vets from another vets as I was unhappy with the care of having rescued a cat from the streets who I named 'Jasper'. He was with me four months in total before having to be put down last week which devastated me.

I met Isabel for the first time back in December, Jasper was a diabetic and the care and support that I received to help me treat him was first class. Had it not been for Isabel I do not think I would have been able to cope. Isabel did all she could to help me save Jasper and I will never be able to repay her for the kindness and care she gave. You can clearly see that she has your pets best interests at heart and a true love for animals.

I never felt alone. There was always someone on the end of the phone to assist if I felt worried or scared and I knew during the time Jasper was here that I could call as often as I wanted. Isabel called me regularly to check on Jaspers' progress for which I am eternally grateful.

When I arrived at the vets last week after Jasper went in for his scans I was advised that he had so many things wrong that it would be difficult to ever regulate him and I had to have him put down. I cried a million tears that night but with the help of Isabel and all the staff I knew that he would be free from pain and that he would go peacefully. It was the hardest decision of my life to make but had it not been for Isabel and the staff I do not know how I would have got through the heartache and pain.

I had the chance to say goodbye to Jasper before and after he passed and everyone was so supportive. His passing was made easier by the respect and care they gave even when my little man had been put to sleep. Northfield is definitely deserving of this award.
