The practice were very supportive to both me and my cat. Everything was explained clearly and in detail. All the staff were lovely and caring. The timings were flexible and they went out of their way to accommodate for me and my pet.

Our 15 year old cairn terrier Scruffy was really starting to struggle walking and was obviously in pain - we thought we may have to say goodbye as painkillers didn't really seem to be helping. Her main problem seemed to be the osteoarthritis in her left shoulder. I asked Gemma if there was anything else we could try and she suggested laser treatment. I booked her in for 6 treatments and told my husband after booking it as I knew he would be very sceptical - which he was!
We started to see a change after just 2 sessions.
Obviously it is not a miracle cure as she is 15 years old, but the difference is amazing, she is now more like our Scruffy - much happier in herself, more mobile and seems to have a lot less pain (again not pain free as she is an old lady, but we definitely feel her pain is now manageable) Both my husband and I are really really pleased with with the outcome and Scruffy is definitely happier.
This is a non-invasive treatment with great results and we would recommend it to anyone. Thanks to the team at West Mount Todmorden we have our little friend for a bit longer. Throughout they have been kind, caring and helpful.

I have used West Mount Vets in Todmorden for many years with my various cats, and have always been very impressed with the friendly and helpful services from both the vets and the staff. They are great at treating both the pet and the owner with equal skill, and offer everything from useful advise to well priced pet food. The only downside is the carpark, which can be a bit tricky to manouvre around.

Had to have our beloved GSD put down recently, and Vicky and crew couldn't have been kinder. From diagnosis to the end, not only were the nurses and other staff always available to talk, but the actual day, horrible as it was, was handled so compassionately, I couldn't have asked for more. Everything was done on our terms, and we were allowed as much time as we wanted to take. Pricing for treatment and medication was sensitively handled as well, which was good as costs mount fast. No rushing, and even hugs and comfort as we prepared to take him to the crem afterwards. They made sure his last hours were pleasant. Highly recommend this vet.

We have been clients at Todmorden practice for around 9.5 years after getting our dog Jasper. To say he has been a regular visitor is somewhat of an understatement ! He has had various injuries and illnesses, some straight forward others less so. The staff over the years have always been patient, caring, skilled and have done their best to look after not just him but us as well.
He has had various procedures as a day patient and I have no doubt whatsoever that when there, he is treated with anything less than 100% attention and kindness. He is still happy to go into the practice even though some visits have not been the most pleasant for him. The team there at present (Dec 2011) are particularly good and nothing is ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone and unless we moved out of the area see no reason why we would ever go elsewhere.

I have dealt with West Mount Vets Todmorden for the last 2 years as a customer with my handsome pet cat Alister. They all showed me nothing but compassion and are the most kind, understanding and patient people I have dealt with in such a delicate situation. Alister visited a couple of specialist vets through out his time but Todmorden always had the more personal service to offer. Knowing their customers and their pets needs and feeling like they are with you every step of the way through very difficult times!! Through my tears and tantrums they have always been there. I am proud we have a local service that really does go that extra mile!! Since losing him, both he and West Mount Vets have enspired me to work towards working with animals myself so..... I have also spent the day there and watching from the other side of 'a day in a vets life' I saw a team who pulled together and knew each others exact next move making it such a successful, tight and brilliant team to be part of!!! Thank you to all staff (both fluffy and human) @ West Mount Vets Todmorden!!!!
