I brought my dog Shadow to Medivet in Chelmsford after he had been treated for two weeks in a different vets with sickness and diarrhoea, he was loosing weight and didn´t want to eat any more.
The vet we saw, was caring and told us that he had to hospitalise Shadow and do some tests and xrays.
He found that there was a blockage in his intestine and needed to operate on him. They checked my insurance for me and agreed to deal direc with them, because I could not afford such expense.
Shadow had his operation and had to have part of his intestine removed because it was rotten, so he had to spend four days in hospital.
Shadow has had his last visit already and he is enjoying playing with my grandchildren again.
I am very grateful to all the team of vets, nurses and receptionists that looked after our dog so he can still be with us.

I was not very happy with the way my previous vets were treating my cat, they were always in a rush, it felt that it was inconvenient that I was there.
A fried recomended me to try Bishopcourt Medivet, so when it was time for my cat's annual injection, I phoned them to register him there and , to my surprise, the vaccine is also cheaper than my previous vet, so I booked him an appointment.
The vet took time to check him thoroughly and advised me about the fleas and worms, and gave him his worm tablet.
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly too.
I would definitely recomend them.

I have only had to take my cat to the vets for vaccinations, but last week he was very ill, not wanting to eat and hardly moving for five days.
The vet I saw was very caring and explained to me all the options to treat Max and, after a blood test, he recomended other investigations that showed he had pancreatis, so he had to stay in the hospital for a few days.
I researched on the internet and it turns out that it is more serious that I thought, but the vet kept me updated every day on Max´s progress and now he is back home in time for the snow.
Thank you to everybody at Bishopscourt.

My cat was being fussy with his food for a little and then started dribbleing and stopped eating, so I took him to the medivet in Chelmsford and the vet checked him over and saw that one of his teeth was very loose and the others needed some attention.
They were very busy, but the vet thought that Trog was in pain so they fitted him in and admitted him for his dental work that same day.He had some teeth off and some medications and now he is eatting like a horse, even his bisquits, and he is even more lively than he was before.

My rabbit stopped eating so I took him to Bishopscourt.
The vet examined him and told me that the teeth were causing sores on his cheeks and that the runny eyes, that he had had for a few weeks were caused by the teeth too, so he admited my rabbit for dental treatment.
I was very concerned because I had lost another rabbit when he had an operation, but the vet phoned me when he finished the treatment to inform me that he was awake and well and he checked my rabbit 3 days later, by then his eyes were clear and he was eating as always.
The vet told me that most likely my rabbit will have problems with his teeth again in the future, but for now he is good as new.
Thank you very much for looking after my boy, you are amazing.

I went to the medivet in Chelmsford with my dog, because he was being sick all night.I didn't have an appointment, but they registered me there and then and, after waiting for a few minutes, the vet saw my dog and examined him, checked the blood while I waited.
The vet gave some injections and tablets and he was back to normal in a couple of days.
My wife and I were very worried, but the vet was very proffesional and reassuring, so the experience for us and our dog was better than I was expecting.
Thank you to all staff for a great service.

My feelings are that it is very much a business that medivet are running. Care comes second to that.
I am very sorry we have not matched your expectations in the delivery of care for your rabbit.
We operate via an integrated network of branches, allowing us to provide 24hr, 365days a year emergency & continuous care, with a vet always on site at this central location; so none of our patients are ever left alone. It seems in your case that there has been a terrible lack of communication between our 24hr centre and our branch. This is something that I am going to investigate further as this is obviously not the standard of client care we would ever want to re-occur.
I very much appreciate your feedback and if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting me via email, letter or in person at the branch, where I will be more than happy to go over your particular case and try to resolve any concerns you have.

I have taken my dog to Medivet Bishopscourt because I was recomended by a friend to do so, after not having a solution for my dog´s lameness.
The receptionists were very helpful and friendly and booked me an appointment the same morning.
The vet did a very thorough examination and did some xrs and took a sample from the joint and gave an injection, all in the same day.
The same vet phoned me 4 days later with the results of the test and to see how my dog was doing.
He is not limping any more after trying all kind of tablets prescribed by other vets.
I would recomend them to anyone.
