Koot and all the staff are absolutely wonderful. They show genuine care and interest in your pet and you're not treated like a number. Always on hand for helpful advice and I know my pup is in the safest hands. I have a vet practice 1 minute from my home but I drive 15 mins to Medivet Danbury because the service and respect for my furbaby is the best.

After moving to Maldon in 2003 we were recommended Koot who had operated on our daughter's Labrador Amber after a leg injury. We brought our 4 year old Westie Jamie and found the staff very friendly and helpful and Jamie was very happy with Koot. At 14 ½ Jamie swallowed a small child's lolly stick and Koot very successfully operated using a camera for the delicate removal. At 15 ½ Jamie was diagnosed with kidney and liver failure and Koot made him as comfortable as he could with treatment, as Jamie's health was deteriating. When the time came, Koot and his assistant Kirsty came to our house but Jamie decided it wasn't his time to go then. Koot said he doesn't mind how many times he has to come out to us which was very reassuring. Sadly they both came out to Jamie a week later and took care of all the arrangements. We cannot recommend Koot's professionalism enough.

We have "adopted" an English Bulldog from the Edwards Foundation. As with many rescue dogs Bertie was in need of medical treatment. We were advised by the Foundation to take him to Koot for treatment. Koot was great, he understands Bulldogs and explains the problem in a way we can understand and treatment he is giving. I would never consider having any other vet treat Bertie!

We have been with Koot's practice since we moved here 8 years ago I have never come across a vet and staff who has showed so much compassion and kindness throughout my visits. They have looked after my Boxers through good & very dad times.
would like to recommend them always

I have been a Client at Danbury for a while now and have always found them friendly, polite and very helpful.
I would particularly like to say what a fantastic vet Koot Kruger is, he is so friendly and shows great interest in the animals and actually talks to them.
Last week i had my Oriental Shorthair put to sleep, and i have never come across a vet who has showed so much compassion and kindness throughout my upsetting visit.
I would highly recommed Danbury
