I have six animals and sadly in the past couple of years my cat needed a serious operation to save her leg and i have had two of mt dogs with cancer. They have saved one but unfortunatley my st bernard is recieving pallative care now. Their service is quick to diagnose and treat and at they make it affordable as they can. There is a feeling in the practise that they genuinely care for the animals and the nurses and reception staff are very caring and cannot do enough to help. I would and have done so already refer people to the vets as i would never take my animals anywhere else.

All of my animals are cared for by Forest Lodge (4 cats and 3 dogs). I moved to this vets on recommendation and can see why they have such a good reputation. Very caring vet staff - especially Karen who is extremely knowledgeable. Alex is by far the best vet we have ever met - his experience and technical expertise is unparalleled in my view and I wont trust anyone else with my beloved pets!

I can't praise the Vet's and staff here highly enough. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. They go above and beyond the call of duty in caring for my 3 cats and my dog.
My kitten who was run over has even lived in with the vet to give her round the clock attention when she needed it, not to mention fund raising for her so she could have a wheelchair/walking aid to enable her to try to walk again and have a better chance of recovery.
I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. I feel blessed to have such compassionate and caring people looking after my animals. If only medical professionals could treat us humans in the same way!
They are the most respectful, kind, holistic and magical people I could ever wish to have looking after my beloved pets.

I have used this veterinary practice a fair few times now as one of my pets has an on-going condition. Every time they have been absolutely fantastic. All the staff are extremely caring, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but I would like to especially mention Alex and Karen who I couldn't fault. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone!

We moved into the area 18 years ago & have been very happy to frequent the premises of FOREST LODGE VETS for the animals for their yearly, monthly or much more often requirements.
We have always found the team to be friendly, helpful, professional, supportive, informative or indeed amusing at times! Wow what a list ! None of our animals have ever been nervous of going to the vets I guess that speaks of how we as owners behave with them at the time but it also speaks volumes for the staff at the practice!!! Many thanks to all of you, please keep up the good work.

Having taken my spaniel to many specialists throughout South East England due to spinal deterioration through arthritis, and having decided not to operate, I was impressed with a 'routine check up' at Forest Lodge, to discuss and hopefully alleviate a slight deterioration in my dogs enthusiastic attempts to enjoy life. I saw Alex, and his practical and technical knowledge was on a par or exceeded the information I had received from specialists. He grasped and interpreted the symptoms immediately and in addition, he was kinder, and more considerate to my dog, (and thus me!), than I had been used to. In particular he explained to me practical ways in which I could make my spaniels life more pleasurable again. I liked the straightforward approach to an overall picture without just dishing out medicine, until all options were discussed.
I find all the staff welcoming, helpful and positive. There is a good working atmosphere.
I recommend them highly for both technical knowledge and sensible maintenance.
