Our hamster Keith caught his leg in his cage and badly broke it, this was no problem for the team at Medivet Oxted. They were so lovely to us throughout our deciding period and at all times treated us and Keith with compassion and respect, we eventually decided on a leg amputation. When we picked Keith up after the operation we got to meet the whole team who had worked on him and now we are bringing our cat in for a check up everyone still asks about how Keith is doing which is such a nice and personal atmosphere to be in. The day after the operation the vet called to check on him and asked me about his stitches and how he was taking his medicine, he assured me that I could call with any questions I have, again, a lovely and personal service. Keith is now five days in to his antibiotics and is flying around on his three legs without a care in the world!
We have had some experiences of incredibly bad vets so coming here has been such a relief and I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!
Thank you team!

Cosmo & Elliott saw Paul today who was very friendly and knowledgable. It was there first vet visit for awhile as we are new to the area and also had previously been put off by our past vet who seemed to care more about how much he could charge us for the visit rather than the welfare of our cats.
We didn't feel rushed, felt we were given great advice and really appreciated the fact that Paul gave us a call later in the day to let us know he'd been thinking about what we said and suggested a book could help us treat the issues with one of our cats.
Overall feeling very pleased! Thank you for restoring our faith in vets!

I cant thank this practice enough for the friendliness and Professionalism shown. I called under sad circumstances knowing my pet was very hurt. The receptionist called my pet by his name throughout the whole conversation and was extremely helpful. Within 20 min of calling we had been seen and my animal had been put out of his pain - but only after the vet asked me what i wanted to do rather than telling me what i should do.
All i can say is thank you.

Medivet have no consideration for local residents. Dogs are left to bark out in the open all night for hours on end. The original licence was for vetinary services and long term quarantine, not short term boarding and day creche. By the time the poor dogs have settled in and calmed down their stay is over. The practise will not entertain the idea of putting up any form of sound insulation. Goodness knows what traumatised state the animals arrived home in. Medivet you are bad neighbours. This review will no doubt be suppressed.
Thank you for your review. We highly value all feedback so that we can continually improve on our level of service.
Here at Medivet Oxted, we pride ourselves in providing a high level of service to the local residents in the form of veterinary care, dog crèche, boarding and grooming. Our experienced staff monitor all pets during their stay. We do encourage monitored outdoor playtime during normal practice hours. Pets are secured indoors at night with soft bedding and a heat lamp to keep them warm. We try to disturb the pets as little as possible during afterhours. In recent years, our focus has become more towards the day crèche. We do still experience higher numbers of boarding pets during the school holidays, but do all we can to ensure that the community are affected as little as possible during our busy seasons. Medivet Oxted is licensed as a Veterinary Practice and has been granted a license by the local council as a dog boarding facility and day creche. By receiving our license, we pride ourselves in adhering to all regulations put in place by the local council which is governed by the chartered Institute of Environmental Health. We are therefore very sorry to hear that you feel we are not considerate of the surrounding community and we would urge you to contact us if you would like to discuss your concerns further.

We have been visiting Medivet Oxted for over 5 years now. One of our cats is a serial offender of injury ranging from a blocked colon to torn ligaments and a broken ankle.
Matt and his staff know our pets. They are always greeted warmly and are always remembered. even on a general visit we have nurses regularly come out to see how our boys are getting on.
Treatment has been knowledgeable and swift. Expert referrals have been spot on and I cannot rate them highly enough.
Vet bills wherever you go are high, but at the end of the day it's private health care for our pets. I have had dealings with other vet centres and they have been very expensive without the level of care and expertise Medivet Oxted have given us. I would rate them fairly on their fees and wouldn't dream taking our boys anywhere else. It is a concern to when they are closed if there is an emergency as we have had to take one of our cats to Richmond their sister branch as we would not touch the Caterham Pet hospital with a barge pole.
Their kennels are great, we are always happy to leave our cocker there, he always comes back happy. Their groomer Hollies Hounds
who is not associated with Medivet but works on the grounds is brilliant also. the vet center are always clean, the staff friendly & professional and more importantly they have bonded well with our pets and we have always felt confident with every appointment with them.

Out siamese cat had an accident with trauma on the brain, Medivet did everything they could to try and save her even driving with us to Richmond to help us through the traumatic experience of having to put her to sleep. Our vet at Oxted was amazing and really made it a peaceful time for our cat, all the staff from reception to vets were tremendous and really helped us through a very painful time. We have the ashes of out cat and a few months later we bought a new siamese kitten who has helped us through our loss, thank you to Medivet for showing so much care to cc.
We are extremely grateful for all the kindness and love you gave to her.

I am very sorry to hear of your dog's problems but I am very glad to hear that she is on the mend. The Oxted clinic is closed on a Sunday but we do provide a 24hr emergency service, the details of which are on our answerphone. Unfortunately without knowing more of your details I can't look into your dog's case. I would be very keen to discuss the matter, please can I urge you to give the clinic a ring and ask for me so that we can talk further.
