“My Brave Cat Josh”

Josh has had lots of health issue's partly due to him being abandoned and living for a long period of time outside in his earlier life. We took him on at the age of 10 yrs from 'The Scratching Post Rescue Centre'. For the past 7 years Marta and her team have looked after him so well and given him lots of care and attention when needed for his Arthiritis, Mega Colon, Heart Murmur, Over Active thryroid - a very long list! All of which have been treated and allowed him to regain his health back. More recently he has had to have major surgery to remove a large hairball that had become lodged in his stomach and he has made a great recovery. They are always very professional and caring towards him and I always feel confident they will take the very best of care of him and their expertise is without question.

“Marta and her team were wonderful”

I have been using this practice since Mr Drew ran it and when Medivet took over I wasn't sure how things would go. Marta and her team have been wonderful - they are professional, kind, always cheery and I do feel that they have the animals best interests at heart. Yesterday I had to take the decision to let my little cat Rosie go - she had had kidney disease for fifteen months but with a renal diet she had been fine and happy until a few days ago. Marta explained everything in great detail as to the treatment she was giving her and was very honest with her prognosis. Sadly Rosie was unable to keep up her fight and Marta and her team were unbelievably kind and gentle with her and me - I am a widow living on my own and Rosie was my companion, friend and the little face that was always waiting for me and following me around everywhere. I am devastated at losing her but Marta and her team really did help to make an awful experience that bit easier. I took her home for burial and they wrapped her up beautifully like a little present which I suppose in life is what she had been to me.
