After moving to the area it was important I found a great vet for my pets. I've done this with Amed at Medivet. He is extremely professional, honest, friendly and considerate with my bulldogs (who are not great lovers of vets!) and is always very informative. Nurses are great and always help. I would highly recommend.

Having moved to the area recently and leaving a wonderful vet in Higham Ferrers I took a chance on visiting this surgery with my 13 years young cat, Chloe, who has various ongoing problems. I could not have chosen better....Kamil treated Chloe with compassion and gentleness, was patient with my questions, and by the end of the visit Chloe was sitting on the examination table purring! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this surgery to anyone and am so relieved to have found an excellent replacement for our last vet.

We would like to thank all the team at Wisbech. One morning just before Christmas, we had a terrible shock with our beloved 15 year old rescue dog, Happy. When we contacted the vets we were met with wonderful support and first class professionalism.
They supported the families needs and informed us of the situation and what the options could be. They made the dreadful situation easier to deal with.
We would fully recommend this vet practice, for their professionalism and the care to not only the pets, but to their owners.

My parents (Heather and Colin Pell) have a beautiful Greyhound. She is a retired racing Greyhound and they have owned her since she was 3 years old. She is now 10 1/2 and recently endured some health problems. We love Madonna so much and were devastated when she became very ill and went downhill on the day I helped my dad to take her to the vets, we really thought we were going to lose her. She is a lovely dog, always so pleased to see us and loves lots of fuss and attention.
Following blood test, Kamil diagnosed nephritis, her serum creatinine was higher than it should be due to renal infection and because of how ill she was, he kept her in hospital from the Friday evening until Tuesday. After 2 different antibiotics, plus other treatment (fluids and glucose plus other things) she started to return to her normal self and recover. We were amazed at just how poorly she was, to how quickly she improved and she is back to the Donna we know and love.
Obviously we were very worried when she was first admitted, but Kamil and Steph kept us regularly updated with her progress, and allowed us to visit her I hospital. I am really glad that my parents use the Wisbech branch of Medivet. They are highly professional but also very approachable. I think that Steph will make a fabulous Veterinary Nurse and Kamil is the nicest vet I have ever met. Due to growing up with animals, I have met several vets in my time at various surgeries and Kamil is by far the best. He shows he generally cares about the animals health and wellbeing, and he is very good with the animals' owners. It is not easy to explain some tests and conditions that animals have because you have to almost translate it from the usual medical names of conditions and treatments to terms which non-medical background owners can understand. I understand the medical terminology because I have a degree in Microbiology and we studied a lot of the human medical side. However, I felt his explanation to me was amazing, and the way he put it in easier terms for my parents to understand was brilliant.
Overall, I would recommend all of the staff at the Practice to anybody whether it be routine vaccinations etc or animal health problems. They are all great and your animal really is given the very best of care.
Thank you so much Kamil and the team working day and night to make Donna better. We can't thank you enough.
Much love to you all

The staff are very helpful (and tolerant) assessing whether a pet actually needs a vet, saving you money.
I've never known any staff not to be good with my cat, even when she hisses at one!
