This was my cat's first visit to this vets. An examination and tests were done but unfortunately she was too ill and old for any treatment to guarantee a full recovery and good quality of life.
Adele and her team were extremely friendly and compassionate toward both myself and my cat.
I had to make the tough decision to do the best for my furry little friend and put her out of her misery.
A heartbreaking day but Adele was very professional and explained the whole procees and options availabke to me once my cat passed.
I would highly recommend this practise.

I cannot praise enough all the staff at Medivet South Ockendon. Adele and the nurses and Jennie on reception all give great service.
They were most helpful and sympathetic with the treatment of my Siamese Sukie. The card I received after she died was most welcome. Adele has given great advice to me about the several Guide dog puppies I foster, and Jennie is excellent at dealing with the necessary paperwork involved.
I look forward to dealing with them when I take on my next puppy.

A huge thank you to Adele and her team and congratulations on being the best vets practice I have ever used. We appreciate all the time, care and effort you put into looking after our little cat Lady over the past three years. I was distraught to learn in April that she had a fast growing tumour and had only weeks to live. The help and support we received from Adele and the sensitive way she cared for our little Lady and also ourselves is beyond words. Thank you Adele, Caron and all the team for your dedicated work in looking after the animals and supporting their owners.

I cannot praise Adele highly enough, she is an amazing vet who will happily take the time to fully explain what is wrong, what needs to be done and all the options that are available. She is also very supportive and caring, as are Jenny and Nicky and all the other staff at South Ockendon. They all supported me through the trumatic loss of my beloved cat Splodge last month and were very respectful to both me and him. I now have 2 new kittens and I would not consider taking them anywhere other than Auntie Adele's!
They also offer a fabulous health care plan that I think is a great idea and it helps spread the cost of regular maintenance. I really cannot praise this pratice enough and would recommend them to everyone.
Thank you Adele and staff for all you have done for me and my cats XxX

My 13 year old Jack Russell recently had a dental operation at Medivet to remove 10 of her teeth that we're causing her pain.. She had many consultations at both the South Ockendon and Chafford Hundred branch and the operation was a success. Now, 2 weeks after the operation, Honey is much happier and is like the little, energic dog she once was 13 years ago. Staff we're excellent and answered all my questions (I had lots!). They made me feel comfortable and gave me lots of advice in regards to what I should and shouldn't do post operation. I am very thankful and would definitely recommend Medivet to anyone with an animal.

Took my puppy for her first vaccinations, and it was a breeze! The vet was lovely and my puppy went from being scared to happily licking and wagging her tail! All the staff were very friendly and we are looking forward to coming back for the pups second jabs!

Our 7 year old Westie was diagnosed with Cushings Disease around 3 months ago. Adele was great, explaining everything she had to do. Jenny and Nickie was very helpful too at a stressful time. Alfie went downhill very rapidly, not eating and losing loads of weight, although Adele tried everything she could and two weeks ago we had to have Alfie put to sleep. Even at this upsetting time Adele was very caring and understanding, giving us time to be with Alfie after he had passed. I can't recommend Adele and her team enough.
