Following a recent holiday, we came home to discover that our cat, Tiger, had managed to put his front paw through his collar and then became stuck.....for a week!!
On removing his collar it was immediately apparent that he had sustained a deep laceration under his arm which was at great risk of infection.
On taking him to my usual vets, they advised that nothing but a graft and bypass would work which would obviously mean a lengthy and costly operation. When I told them that this was not an option they asked if I would sign the cat over to them so that they could do the operation anyway but they would re-home the cat afterwards. They told me there was no other option.
Feeling upset and angry at my experience I went to Hunts, Cheadle Hulme where I could not have received any better care. Emma and Lindsay were kind, considerate and professional.
Emma immediately informed me of options for Tiger, which included dressings and antibiotics and eventually closing the wound.
It has taken six weeks of dressings and stitches but the wound has now healed perfectly and Tiger is about to have his first day out in the garden tomorrow!
I cannot thank Emma enough. She has always maintained a professional and caring manner and is obviously a truly dedicated vet. I would trust her with any pet without hesitation.
I will recommend the practice to all my fellow pet owners and would never go anywhere else from now on.

We took our dog to see Emma Wynne because we wanted a second opinion following a visit to our regular vet. She was simply great and, although there is not much hope for Jack in the long term, she was able to improve his quality of life hugely in the short term. He is just so much more lively now.
I also really like the fact that there is no need to make an appointment, it makes it so much easier.

Dear All at Hunts Poynton
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for looking after Star. Even though she is still with you!
Star means so much to our family and you have looked after her so well and been so caring.
I have seen/spoken to 3 vets and most of the nurses and each time Star has come in she and I have had excellent treatment from the initial consultation to me calling regularly to check how she is, each person has been outstanding, they have dealt with my queries and given Star the attention I would give her and I feel happy leaving her in your care.
All at Hunts couldn't do enough for me and Star and were/are always happy to help.
Thank you we as a family are very grateful.

I am writing to you, with regards to one of your vets, Erin.
Erin was the vet who treated my dog Kia, who sadly had to be put to sleep last week!
I believe that Kia posed quite an intricate and complex case to you.
However, Erin was incredibly compassionate, thorough and efficient and explored every possible avenue! While doing so, she continually kept us informed and up to date with all of Kia's treatment.
This made the inevitable, a lot easier to comprehend, as we were fully aware of what position we were in, and that every option had been explored.
May we take this opportunity to thank, a truly talented, compassionate and dedicated Vet, who is most definitely, an asset to your (Poynton) practice David!
Please convey our thanks and appreciation to Erin, and to also, wish you (and all of your Furries) a very happy Christmas and New Year!
