“Good practice”

This seems to be a very friendly and well-run practice. Our cats have always received excellent treatment. My only reservation is with the prices but this is true of veterinary practice across the board, as far as I can see, and not a negative reflection on this one.

“Peace of mind”

When our beloved Bengal cat was hit by a car and we needed emergency treatment, I felt completely reassured that Streatham Hill Vets were giving our cat the best care we could have asked for at the time and later in his recovery. We didn't even flinch when the bill came through as it was not only reasonable but well worth it to have our boy back happy and healthy.

“Friendly and professional veterinary surgery”

We recently rescued a 3 year old greyhound, Fly, and knowing nothing about her background, we weren't sure what to expect medically. As we had to get a few things done (vaccination, microchip and spay), I called up a few vets, and Streatham Hill vets had the best prices and best telephone advice (accurate prices, recovery advice). I put quite a bit of research into finding a reputable, professional surgery to look after Fly's health and Streatham Hill came out on top. There were also some really useful vouchers on the surgery website.

The practice itself is really nice and clean. They had plenty of appointments to suit people who work "9-5" weekdays, so it was easy to schedule Fly's visits around my day.I enjoyed reading about all the updates that were happening on the reception wall. The reception staff, nurses and vets were all really friendly and knowledgable. Fly was looked after so well and the whole experience didn't seem to phase her at all. Every time we visit, the staff seem genuinely happy to see Fly, and she loves the attention and treats they lavish on her.

I've already recommended this vets to some new greyhound owner friends of mine and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the same to anyone with a pet they love!

“Amazing!”

Up until a few months ago my Cavalier King Charles, Chili, was a pretty healthy little dog. No major incidents. Then in April she was playing ball and slipped in the wet grass and it was all downhill. Streatham Hill Vets were amazing, didn't give up until they had figured out exactly where the problem was. Three x-rays later, a trip to Stone Lion vets in Wimbledon for three MRI's, and much prodding and investigating followed till the MRI showed a bulging disc in the lower back. Due to the fact that Cavaliers are prone to SM, the next MRI also showed that she had mild SM and also fluid in the ear canal. I would never have know any of this if it hadn't been for Piya, a wonderful vet at Streatham Hill insisting that although it was her lower back there might be other problems due to her scratching etc and to get the MRI. So the fall in the park although painful was actually lucky as Chili is now on medicine for the SM and she has had the fluid removed from the ears and is scratching less. While her immune system was down, she caught a tummy bug, then an eye infection, a mouth infection and many other issues since. She was on a drip for five days at the vets and Piya and all the nurses were amazing, checking on her 24/7 and making sure she was comfortable. Even Claire and Jane on reception were brilliant, calling me with updates and sorting out all my insurance claims which were confusing as there were so many new claims. Every member of staff is polite, patient and caring. She goes for K-laser once a week and loves seeing all the nurses who give her the 'doggie heat massage' for 3 minutes while she eats as many treats as possible! She used to hate going to her old vets but when she goes to Streatham Hill vets she can't wait to get in there and see all her mates. Im my mind, it's the BEST vets in London!."

“Leo”

My dog Leo has a very adventurous spirit which has meant quite a few visits to the vets in his short life. He is never afraid, never hesitant and usually drags me in the door. The staff have always taken great care of him and having spent quite a bit of time in the cages out the back with Leo I have seen how caring the staff are to all the animals. I am so happy with the surgery and Leo's keenness when visiting shows how much the staff love the animals they care for.

“Simba speaks!”

My name is Simba and I was a very sick boy. My mum took me to you guys for a blood test. She had no idea how sick I was. You noticed I really wasn't well. Thank Paws!! I was put in emergency care 24 hour a day for over 5 days. You fixed me right up and helped my mum sort everything out. You all took the best care of me. You didn't even mind when I kept the nurses awake all night barking and pulling out my IV drips. Claire was amazing, helping my mum fill out the insurance forms and all the nurses and vets took the best care of me. I wouldn't be alive now without you all and you've made me and my family really happy. I am feeling so much better now, I don't even mind the twice daily injections. I am back chewing squeaky toys and chasing tennis balls, enjoying life. Thank you all so much for all your tireless, dedicated, caring and top notch help. My family and I are huge fans :) Woof!

“Fantastic Vet Practice, Highly recommended”

We have been taking our family cats to Streatham Hill Vets for nearly 20 years. We have always found the whole team cheerful, caring, attentive to our concerns and completely professional. They were very supportive throughout the long complicated last two years of one of our cats with renal disease who required numerous visits to the surgery and shared our distress when she finally passed away. our present cat is 17 and the staff know him well and always ask after him should I phone in for something. They all understand that owners need TLC too when their pet is ill and this is given unconditionally. If you live within reach of this practice I highly recommend that you take your pet to them when required.

“First class service from a friendly professional team.”

I am the first to admit that when it comes to the vets my senior muggy can be a challenge but the staff are friendly, helpful, informative and professional. The surgery is clean and welcoming and easy to get to by car or public transport. The main concern of the staff is the well being of your pet and they also understand that at times the owners need TLC as well. If you live in the area I recommend this practice wholeheartedly.

“Our favourite local vet”

We've been taking our King Charles Cavalier "Tilly" to Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery for the last year - we always receive efficient, friendly and professional service from the reception staff through to the vets. Tilly has had a few health concerns we have had to attend to outside of the normal routine checks and have always been very satisfied with the care and treatment we have received - Tilly loves going too, she can't wait to get through the door every time we take her!

“Excellence”

Streatham Hill Vets have cared for all my animals from hamsters to cats for over 10 years, the service is second to none. They are always caring and supportive, not only of your pets but also the often stressed owners! After nearly two years one of the nurses remembered when our kitten had fits and asked after him as he came in for his jabs..... I think it is amazing that they remember that kind of detail despite all the hundreds of animals they must see. Good care and service - hard to find these days.

“Excellent”

I had to take my cat Leon here for an emergency appointment after he sustained a nasty gash on his face after a fight - the receptionist was very kind and supportive on the phone and immediately got me an emergency appointment. The Vet was very gentle with Leon, who was very nervous and anxious (sweaty paws) and quickly stitched him up and gave him a shot. I was really impressed by the speed and professionalism shown by all - my highest possible recommendation. Glad they are in my area!

“Seriously skilled surgery - saved our cat when we thought we”

The vets at this surgery are by far the most compassionate and kind vets I have met (and I have been with a few surgeries in my time). Their care has always been top notch for the five years that I have been with them and their surgical expertise and facilities make them the most progressive vets in the area. Thank you Vanessa and Dane for putting our baby back together after a horrific RTA. We thought it was all lost and as a family we are forever grateful!
