“medivet oxford animal clinic”

We had an emergency with our dog whilst on holiday in Oxford, and Bernd saw him within less than one hour. His treatment, care and reassurance were great, and we are very grateful.

“Everything you want in a veterinary practice! ”

I am delighted with the care Jack received today. Dr Plathe is knowledgeable and thorough; he listened and applied the most conservative approach to Jack's medical needs. Jack is sometimes hesitant about new places, he was calm and relaxed with Dr Plathe. The doctor is also considerate of costs and did not over prescribe. We've been to many vets and pet clinics, as we travel frequently, and I can honestly say this is an outstanding practice. I would recommend them to anyone in need of quality veterinary care for their pets.

“Really good clinic”

We have tried a lot of veterinary clinics, and this is the only one where we feel like the vets really mean the best by our dogs rather than trying to suck the most money possible out of our pockets. We get honest, professional advice that we trust. Thank you Berndt and colleagues.

“Lucky Black Cat!”

Our beautiful black cat, Satin, looked as if he had gone ten rounds with a champ, his poor eye was so swollen. Berndt, wonderful vet here anesthetised him, said he'd been in a fight and had an abcess, sorted out the damage and gave advice on getting the antibiotic tablets into him. Everything was very clearly explained to us. Our top tip for giving cat tablets: pound tablet to powder, roll in tiny pieces of ham, feed to hungry cat. Now Satin has his beautiful eye back. CXan't recommend this practive highly enough. Meow!

“brilliant treatrment”

Our cat Satin looked like a boxer who has gone a dozen rounds with a champ, his poor eye was so swollen after a fight. The vet here checked him out under anaesthetic, cleaned him up and reassured us wonderfully well, explaining everything and giving us antibiotics, with tips for administering the tablets. Our best tip: pound tablet into powder, roll in little pieces of ham or chicken, give to hungry cat. Now Satin has his former beautiful eyes back! We are all very grateful. Thank you, Medivets!

“Friendly , reassuring and compassionate”

Unfortunately we had to make the sad decision that no pet owner wants to after having our cat for 18yrs. We were told that he was very poorly due to a number of ailments brought on by his excellent old age. We were advised fully of the procedure and the ways that it could be done that would make it the least stressful and comfortable for him. We decided which was best and at no time were we rushed or made to feel that we were imposing on anyone else's time even though this was not the easiest of things to deal with. I would highly recommend the practice and would not hesitate to take my pet there if I have any more in the future. They were friendly, reassuring and compassionate to the end. Thank you
